...I needed to get a new camera after my older nikon coolpix camera broke and then I lost it. I wanted a new camera however I was on a budget so I started to look for a new camera. The sony range of camera caught my attention since they are a well known and the people who own sony cybershot cameras rate them highly. I paid £70 including postage for my the sony cybershot camera which I think is very good value for what you get. The first thing you notice with the camera is how good it looks, it's all silver and shiny, the Lcd monitor is 2.5 which is a very good size and it is very clear. Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images.

Canon Powershot SX110 IS

Advantages: Lots of features
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...Design The Canon Powershot SX110 IS is a pretty big camera compared to some on the market. It is around 11cm by 7cm and feels quite large in your hands, although this does make it feel sturdy and strongly built. Despite the size, it fits into your hands rather smoothly and is fairly comfortable to hold. It weighs in at around 300g which is quite heavy but once again makes it feel strong. It is too large to keep it comfortably in your pocket and so the wrist strap comes in handy. (A neck strap would be a nice addition though). I was told you can also purchase a pouch for it to clip on to your belt. You can get to the buttons, pop up flash light and battery space easily and they are all well made and strong. The battery space holds two AA battery's and they are easy to change compared to some cameras which are fiddly or the battery...
