128Mb isn't big enough for me!
Review of Sony by
grex9101
Advantages: Small, comes with standard adaptor
Disadvantages: Quite pricey, availability, confusing formats
...I'll be referring a lot to the SonyEriccson p800 in this review, as this is what i bought the memory stick duo for. In my opinion, these are somewhat necessary for an easy life. I'll tell you guys all about it..
I managed to source my sony memory stick duo (msd) within the UK. Quite a feat, considering that most big electrical retailers looked at me like I had two heads when I asked if they stocked it, even when I showed them the 16Mb flavour that came with my p800! I did manage to find them in stock in Jessops, but at the time, they only carried 64Mb, and they were still expensive (£49.99) compared to what i'd seen on the web. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I managed to get a 128Mb msd from dabs.com, for £49.35, all in (this was Aug 2003, you'll be able to get them (slightly) cheaper now).
Now, the part number of the one I...

Fujifilm XD Picture Card (128mb)
Review of Fujifilm xD-Picture Card 128MB by
offspringy
Advantages: Fast, Tiney Physical Size, Decent storage for price
Disadvantages: Not as wide spread as SD + Compact Flash
...The Fujifilm XD Picture Card (128mb) is a very small (aprox 1.5cm) Memory card used in most Fujifilm cameras.
It was developed jointly between Fujifilm and Olympus to create the worlds smallest and very fast memory card, which Fuji dropped into their camera's to promote them.
The XD picture cards have had an update in recent months where they got even faster, and can be distinguished from the older models by their blue writing (there are 2 versions of XD card, normal and fast) the older card is black with gold writing.
The card i bought (128mb) holds enough for small cameras (1-3mpx) but anything over that its a struggle to squeeze all your images onto it, i get on average 30-50 images before i have to dump my memory onto a hard drive (at 6mpx).
Price when it was released was around £50 (which unfortunately i paid) you can...

...The MSI is a great little music player. It has a memory of 128mb so you can save 128 mb of MP3 or WMA. Alonside of that it has a Radio that you can preset your favorite station and you can even record the radio live.
There is a small microphone built into the Mega Stick but you can insert your own into the spare mic port. With this you can record your own messages and upload them to your computer
Music Quality
The music quality depends on how you get it to your computer, Downloaded or uploaded from a CD using Windows media player or the software included.
Connection
USB 1/2
You can use any USB but there is a significant change between them. The USB plug is built into the player and is protected by a plastic cup-like cover.
