Sony NWZ-A829 16GB - Wired for Sound

...Got the Sony NWZ-A829 a couple of days ago as a present. Up to now I've just had a cheap 2gb MP3 player. I wanted a player with a large memory capacity but didn't want an iPod. The machine is very sleek, less than a centimetre wide and looks very stylish, in shiny black. As an extra I bought the silicone case which came with a free screen protector as I was worried that it'd get scratched. I'd pleased that I did. Although given the player cost £165 it would have been nice if Sony had included one as part of the package. The screen is large and bright. The menu screen straight forward and easy to navigate. I didn't use the Sony software that came with the machine to load the music, I either used Windows Media player 11 or simply cut and paste from my hard drive to the player via the computer. Sony Walkman 16 GB: Great media player, but not without faults...

Advantages: Large 16GB capacity, easy to use interface, easy to transfer music/pictures, superb sound quality.
Disadvantages: Incompatibility with many video formats and competitor mains/USB recharger adaptors

However, an important fact I feel you should be aware of is the Players' incompatibility with recharger mains/USB adaptors not specifically designed for the player by Sony. I tried using a cheap competitor adaptor which resulted in my computer failing to recognise the player once connected (meaning I couldn't transfer any more music) which meant I had to get a replacement (which was thankfully provided free of charge). Disadvantages: Costly, Little hard drive space, dodgy touch screen

Personally, I have a lot of music and videos that I would like to store on my Ipod but the small 16gb hard drive just cant handle the amount of music and video I want to put on it, unlike the ipod classic which can hold up to 160gb, 10 times as much as the touch. But if you want a flashy gadget that does have high level of technology and has a fairly long battery life, and are willing to compromise on hard drive space then this is the by far the MP3 player for you, however, if space is essential for you, then the Ipod classic is the ideal MP3 player that is also easy to use....

...The Ipod touch is without a doubt the best Mp3/Mp4 player that is on the market currently in my opinion as it has so many good qualities. These qualities include the beautiful touch screen which enables quick navigation, up to 2500 songs / 20 films and thousands of pictures, internet access, hundreds of games to choose from (some already installed on the ipod) and lots of icons to choose from (stock market checks, calendar etc) which just basically makes the whole experience of having an ipod touch that little bit better. The ipod touch (16GB) version is in my opinion the best value for money at roughly £220 as it holds a lot of data yet still doesn't break the bank. If you are thinking of buying a loved one a present I would recommend the ipod touch as it can be personalised and customised to that persons needs, apple store...

Addiction in your hand, its the Apple Ipod Touch 16gb

Advantages: wifi, free apps, idiot proof, touch screen, endless apps, small and thin, fun!!!
Disadvantages: battery,price, addictive, no camera

...things. These apps range from Free in price to a few pounds depending on the app. You download it with one touch of the button and thats it. you dont need to be a computer whizz to use this ipod. Thats the beauty of it. Its very simple yet very high tech. The 16 gb memory allows for an impressive music collection to be stored on here. However remember that any apps and movies and photos also use up memory space though less. I always seem to be using this product for whatever, there is so much you can do with this devise. Its basically the iphone without the phone or camera. I recommend one for anyone. Its easy to use and has something for everyone....

iPod Touch 16GB - Pros and Cons

Disadvantages: Slow internet

...I found the iPod touch (16 GB) very easy to use. Having had no experience with the iPhone or an iPod Touch before it is easy to pick up and use straight away. On iTunes the iPod touch works exactly the same way as other ipods and only requires an iTunes update from the apple website. The internet on it is quite slow, but then its not designed to be used as a personal computer so i think this can be forgiven. When using the keypad, it was a little boxy and it is easy to hit 2 buttons at the same time. The iPod touch 16GB can be found for only £35 more than iPod Classic, and when decinding between the two, the Ipod Touch is well worth the extra....

...When the Ipod touch was first advertised I thought it looked amazing and I still do. The touch screen is the next generation of technology and is the beginning of a touch generation. There are many advantages to this product and the first is of course the touch screen. It allows you to access everything very easily and you can get the hang of it very easily. After about 5 minutes of just messing about you will have found most of the features and be able to use them with ease. There are hardly any disadvantages but one that i found was that 16gb is not enough if you have a few tv shows you would like to put on. It would also be better if apple could include a case of some sort. But, i recommend this to anyone looking to invest in an iPod/MP4/MP3 player....

Advantages: Trendy cool factor, decent capacity.
Disadvantages: Crappy earphones low battery life and poor codec compatibility. High cost

...because it's not hard to put one in. Despite it's flaws it's the right player for me and I recommend it over similar players like the Zune or the other models of iPods. It's not as if you're ever going to need to carry more than 16GB of mp3 information with you at all times, and if you do, you would know more about the players than I....
