A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online
Disadvantages: Small Gamelist Thus Far and Some Games Suffer From Framerate and Graphical Pop-Up Issues

...Sony's Playstation 3 is thier third go around in the Video Game business. My console reviews usually consist of reviews in the following categories Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. Much like the Xbox 360, i'll also be reviewing the Design of the PS3. The design of the PS3 is the more classy of the three new consoles. The PS3 is a black square system with a curved top. While the design is beautiful, this system is very big, matching the 360 in terms of size. The system also offers Blu-ray but, in my opinion, that should not be the only reason you should be spending $400-500 on this system. Sony is back with a bang!

Advantages: slick piece of hardware, great games, so much to do!
Disadvantages: not cheap!

...Having just recently won a competition to spend a night with the PS3 I figured it would be a smart idea to do a personal review of the console which everyone will be talking about (in the UK) in a few weeks to come. My Peugeot 205 GT

Advantages: Retro, Vintage, easy to drive
Disadvantages: Choke

...I am a new driver of only 1 and 1/2 months, 17 years old. I passed my test on the first attempt, which surprised the hell out of me. Fortunately, my dad had already bought me a car for my birthday about 3 months before. This car was my very own Peugeot 205 GT (G reg). It's a sort of slivery blue, 5 door. I have to say that I whole heartedly love this car, it is actually my favourite posession, so I thought I would write a review to reflect how it does from a first car point of view. Firstly, safety: I have to admit that the fact that it doesn't have any airbags does bother me. I also get worried about the alarm, as it doesnt have one, but that could easily be fixed by getting one fitted. Garmin Forerunner 205 - your virtual coach...

Advantages: Great for tracking your performance and working to improve it
Disadvantages: Doesn't feel good losing a race with your virtual partner :-(

Sony Official PS3 SIXAXIS Wireless Controller

Advantages: Great Design
Disadvantages: No Dual Shock

...This is a great controller jus like the classic ps1/ps2 the design stayed the same. This is the perfect controller i can not say anything about the slick design. As you may know this controller is wireless so you may use it from newere in the room so no messy wires hanging around. And the batttery lasts very long i dont have to charge it very often but i dont play hours every day either. Only bad this about this controller is that unlike the ps1/ps2 controllers this does not have dual shock so no rumble :(.This is because sony could not get rights for the technology. Sony what happened? Well good news this controller is being released again next year as Dual Shock 3 is comming out. Another great console from Sony

Advantages: Really good graphics, Blue Ray player built in, wireless internet for free
Disadvantages: High price, loud fan when playing games

...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out. However there have been many reported problems with the Xbox 360, such as the console freezing, so I thought I best play it safe and instead get the PS3 when I had some money. The PS3 also offers more benefits over the Xbox 360, like free online play and less reported faults with the console in general...

...Let me start by saying, that despite the hefty rrp, despite the fact that its 3rd in the console race behind the nintendo wii and xbox 360 respectfully, the playstation 3 is in my honest opinion, the best out of the three without a doubt. Canon MD205 Mini DV Camcorder for all the family

Advantages: Compact. Good zoom. Good image quality Budget price.
Disadvantages: No separate battery charger supplied. Lots of PC disc space needed for film editing.

...on the computer (although it can be very time consuming). A separate battery charger was NOT supplied with my camera so the battery has to be charged from the mains supply whilst in the camera itself. I find this a bit limiting and a separate battery charger would have been a useful accessory to have. All in all I have been very pleased with my Canon MD205 Mini DV Camcorder and would recommend it as a good 'budget' camera for a family to use to create lasting memories....
