Sophisticated bluetooth headset -Sony Ericsson Bluetooth HBH-PV70

Advantages: Good sound quality, stylish design, easy to use, great price.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any.

...I purchased this bluetooth headset a few months ago and it has been really useful. I'm on my phone quite a lot, and it was a nightmare whilst I was driving and my phone went off. I decided I had to invest in a headset. There was so much choice in the internet so it was difficult to know what one to go after, and after reading a few good reviews for the HBH-PV700 I brought it. I own a Sony Ericsson phone and I've heard if you connect the two you get better results, although it works perfectly fine on any other phone. It was really simple to use. You only really had to turn it on, connect it to the phone with a simple bluetooth passcode (generally I think its always 0000) and then it was set up. It's easy to turn on and off, and if you turn it on with the phone in distance, then it automatically sets it up, so that if you get a phone...

...Ok where to start. My sister got the headset free with her Motorola phone (ages ago) she has never used it and hid lost the instructions for it. We have just moved house and my dad found the headset. He charged it up but none of use could work out how to use it as SOMEONE (My sister) had lost the instructions. ...I bought this headset for use with my Play Station 3 for online voice chat whilst playing various games. First of all you have to charge it for a while before using it and it's fully rechargeable! The headset fits very comfortably in your ear of choice as it the ear hook can be reversed for people who may prefer the earpiece in their left ear. Now onto sound quality...to be honest when I'm on the PS3 it's pretty fuzzy. But that is actually due to my quite terrible internet provider probably! When I use it with my phone it's as clear as day and easy to use. Overall, this is a product worth buying given the price of it! I think this, together with range of use, is pretty subjective since it depends on many, often unpredictable, factors. I usually keep my phone in my handbag whilst out and about and have had no problems with dropped calls etc. Similarly, I can walk around the house without loss of signal. My experience may not be yours. It beeps when out of range, so at least you know! The headset 'beeps' in your ear when a call is incoming at which point a quick touch of the button answers it and ends it.. Personally, I have my Discovery/Treo set to answer calls automatically, which I find very convenient, especially when driving. Advantages: low price,easy to connect,very good microphone.

...My first impression with the PV703 is that it is very easy to connect .With my Sony Ericsson w901i , just turn on your bluetooth function and everything's done, all the passcodes or any normal steps that needed to get through with other headset was eliminated . I tried calling my wife from a noisy shopping mall and she can hear me with no efforts,amazing microphone for a headset with this price range. But after a while some dispointment comes to light. The connection lost can be expected within less than 15 minutes' conversation, even if its is just fully charged. You'll need to adjust the volume on almost every call, well I understand there is no automatic volume adjustment on this model, but the problem is if you really want to here every word , you'll have to turn it on a little louder than you want to , the noise quality is not...

I was working in London a lot and wanted to be able to keep my phone out of sight in my bag, also when shopping or out somewhere noisy I never hear the phone so this seemed like an ideal solution.
