Sony Bravia KDL-40V4000 - great for Hi-Def users
Advantages: Speedy channel navigation + table-top stand swivels + clean standard-def input
Disadvantages: no white balance control - doesn't smooth jagged edges from interlaced well - average motion resolution
...important to note that the height - 68.4cm - is when the stand is included.

Bravia.
Bra via - or "BRAVIA", rather - is a brand that Sony uses to market its high definition LCD televisions, in addition to projection televisions and projectors, and mobile phones in countries such as Japan. The original name was WEGA and some BRAVIA advertisements can still be found where the item in question carries the WEGA logo.
The name is actually an acronym for "Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture".
----------PRODUCT TYPE------------------------------
This product is an LCD television, where "LCD" is the commonly known abbreviation for "liquid crystal display". In brief, a liquid crystal is a substance that has characteristics and properties between those of a liquid and those...

Sony Bravia 20" - A great little HDTV
Advantages: Compact yet powerful, great screen, quality design, contrast, colours, sound,
Disadvantages: Weird stand, Silver not the best, only 1 HDMI
...Hi everyone, first review in a while, I don't get much time for a Ciao at the moment, GCSEs are beginning to get scarily close, but I thought I'd roll this one out for you on the monitor/HDTV that I've been using for a while.
This Sony Bravia television is really nice. I thought I'd begin with that, and now move on. I'm using it right now; it is hooked up to our family computer via VGA cables, and works very nicely. It provides clear, crisp and punchy colours, with great brightness and contrast. I will now move on in more detail.
Picture Quality
What can I say, this is really the most important thing in my opinion with a television, because of course, it is what they were originally for, watching moving things that weren't in your home, and of course this TV holds up to that. We unfortunately do not have an HDTV...

Sony Bravia
Advantages: The picture quality is excellent
Disadvantages: The sound quality could be better
...The picture quality is absolutely superb, yet again sony has made an outstaning product. I have it connected to my ps3 and it does 1080p resolution which is crystal clear, although the sound quality could be better. But i solved this problem by simply connecting it to a surroundsound system and now its absolutely fine. If you're considering getting one then i advise you not to put it on a wall bracket because it is quite hard to connect other devices to the t.v as you cant see whats behind it.I would also advise you to buy a surround sound sstem, i personally know that bose make really high quality ones, although they are expensive they are absolutely worth it. This t.v is simply 40 inches of unblemished perfection. I would advise you to buy this t.v....

Sony 32 inch Bravia TV review
Advantages: Good screen size, brilliant viewing quality.
Disadvantages: No ariel lead when you buy the product.
...I have bought this tv recently (in the last 3 weeks) and are very impressed. The picture quality is fantastic, and the standard definition almost seems like high definition. There is also hd sound, if you turn it on in the settings, and this improves the viewing quality amazing. The flat screen has made my room look almost double the size. I always have bought sony, and am very impresed as my last tv did not break in 7 years. This tv is an excellent replacment, and the inbuilt freeview tuner picks up all of the channels in my area without any signal boosters. The only problem with this tv is that it does not come with an ariel lead. Very well done sony!!!...

Sony Bravia 40" TV
Advantages: Large, reliable, excellent future compatibility, Bravia sync
Disadvantages: Poor cable/satellite picture, intrusive now and next bar, lack of optical sound
...This is the second HD TV I have purchased and the first Sony one. Overall this TV is a great purchase and at the time of my purchasing was excellent value for money. It cost me £699 in December 2007. It has good compatibility for current and future technologies with 2 HDMI ports. The picture quality from pure HD sources. including games consoles and Blu-ray players is immaculate as you would expect from a Sony product.
The built in Freeview and Electronic Programme Guide are very easy to use and produce excellent picture quality when compared with Freeview set top boxes. Because this is a Sony TV with bravia sync when used with a compatible Sony home theatre the sound can be easily synced using a HDMI cable. This also allows the sound system control to be used for the tv and tv for the sound system (in a limited capacity)
The main...

A Sony Bravia for £349.99
Advantages: Great picture quality - Great sound quality - Looks good - a big array of features
Disadvantages: Quite bulky - The array of options could confuse some
...This Television is an absolute bargain. I purchaed the TV for £349 from play.com.
When i first unboxed this i was very happy - but slightly annoyed that the stand was not prefitted - might just be me but it was quite hard to fit and because i had to do it there is the worry it is not as good as it could be. Once the stand is fitted - and checked for security you can now admire the TV.
The TV looks amazing really - its black and not a fingerprint magnet like most sony products. There is one speaker spanning the whole bottom of the TV - it looks stylish - and you get the feeling that the TV is very powerful.
The connectivity is really good for this TV - 3 HDMI ports - composite and component slots - RF - Scart *2 - PC - Camera card - headphones and hi - fi connections. All are very well laid out and are input and removed easily...

Sony Bravia Reigns Supreme
Advantages: Superb picture, natural colours and excellent visual dynamics
Disadvantages: Only one HDMI connection
...As this seems to be a rather popular product i shall give a bit more detail to my review.
----------First Impressions----------
Well, what can I say! The Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000 is the King amongst LCD TVs. After owning this TV for about two months I couldn't be more impressed. At first I was worried that the picture on an LCD screen wouldn't compare to my old CRT, I couldn't have been more wrong. The Sony displays an extremely sharp picture and the range of hues is nothing short of outstanding.
----------Tech Spec----------
With a resolution of 1366x768, digital and analogue TV tuners and shipped HD ready this TV is ultimately future proof. Alongside the usual array of connections is an HDMI input and a set of component video connections. If truth be told an extra HDMI input would have been nice but that seems to be...

The Sony Bravia - bouncing coloured balls ad!
Advantages: Great Stylish HD Ready Sony LCD TV with superb quality
Disadvantages: if your not comfy with lots of cables at the back of the TV then beware
...of content this way.
The choice then is to go traditional CRT (large bump behind the screen that is awkward), or one of the newer technologies such as Plasma or LCD. In the end I opted for LCD having spent a lot of time loitering in Comet, Currys and John Lewis et al to see if I could decipher what was going to give me great picture quality. LCD is also a lot less power hungry, and uses about a third of the electricity that plasma does, so that may be a factor for you.
After much loitering, and also consulting with a couple of magazines on the subject, I had narrowed my choice down to a few brands, and pretty much knew that I would be looking for a 32" screen based on the size of my living room. My choices were:.
Samsung
LG
Phillips
Sony
Toshiba
All showed great picture quality in the shops, and had models that included...

Bravo Sony!!
Advantages: Bright, sleek, slim and sharp, looks stunning on the wall!
Disadvantages: Yet to find them!
...firstly colour! You'd have been hard pushed before the Bravia V Series came along, to find any particular variation in choice of colour or styling but Sony came along with several variants in the Bravia range.
Firstly, there are three different series in the Bravia range, and quite rightly they improve in specification and price-point as you move further up the range.
There is the S series: HD Ready and Integrated Freeview (Silver only)
The V: Series: Black HD Ready and with integrated freeview. Also features faster screen response times as well as a wider colour pallet and contrast ratio in comparison to the S Series.
The W Series: The daddy of the Bravia Range in a whopping 40" screen, featuring all of the V's specification, along with a 100w built in subwoofer, integrated surround system and digital amplification. In short, it...

Bravia KDL-70X3500
Advantages: really big, looks nice, good picture
Disadvantages: the price tag
...to be honest what do you expect from something that costs this much and is made by a brand as big as sony, you expect it to be perfect, big and a work of art, well, it looks like a TV, big it is, but not the most stunning object you'll come across, although a nice looker for a TV. So thats one box ticked and another half ticked but is it really worth the money?
Just to clear this up, i dont own this but a rich pillock (who these are aimed at) down the road from me does and boats about it enough for everyone to know and to be honest thats what your paying for. Yes, the picture is top of the range and the HD feature brings whatever your watching to life, providing you have a HD DVD player (or channels) but there are other TVs, including others in Sony's vast expanse of products, which will give you a similar experience for a much more...
