Sony Camcorder Battery

Advantages: It can hold a very good charge

...In the past two years I have bought 4 of these batteries. I love these batteries because Sony have made most of their camcorders compatible with this battery. This meant that when I got my new camcorder for Christmas this year I was then able to transfer my old battery for a back-up. I have bought so many of these batteries because I do a lot of sightseeing. I have also choose this battery over any other because it holds an extremely good charge. I had came across times when I was standing in front of a beautiful landmark and I had no battery charge. After that experience any holidays, or events I got to I always bring at least one spare, charged battery as well as my own. ...The Sony HDR-CX7 camcorder is very well designed with plenty of features and records in high definition. The camcorder has a black outer shell with lines that add an executive look to it. The look will easily let people know you have an expensive and top of the range kit in your hands. The camcorder is amazingly compact taking into account all the features it has. It's actually 2.75" (W) x 2.75" (H) x 5.25" (D) and only weighing around 15 ounces including the card, battery and strap. ...I suspect people may be surpised that I haven't included one of the main USP's (Unique Selling Point) as an advantage. ...Having spent £££ on a Sony digicam, I was a bit surprised that it didn't come with a case to protect my investment. So, about three months ago I bought the LCS-VA5 case for £39 from a supplier link on Ciao. This compact case is made of high quality materials and provides solid padding all round. The main compartment is semi-rigid with adjustable dividers to accomodate different sizes of camcorder.
