...I have just brought a laptop to do some word processing at home. It wasn't a very expensive one, but I wanted to take good care of it so it wouldn't get dirty or scratched. When I brought the laptop I asked the shop assistant if they sold any carrying cases and he showed me a couple of them. The first one felt very cheap and didn't feel as if it would last for very long and it also felt that it would rip easy at the seams. So I asked him if there where any more to look at and he told me that there where a few others but they where more expensive. He produced this Toshiba carrying case and I instantly knew from the look of it that it was more substantial and a better quality material. It was £25.99, which was more than I wanted to pay for a case but I knew that if I brought the cheaper one then it wouldn't have lasted as long...

In case you need to protect your laptop!

Advantages: Great for protecting your laptop
Disadvantages: None!

...Reason For Purchasing: This has been a really great Notebook, or in my case, Laptop carrying bag, that I have used for over a year. I bought it to protect my laptop, whenever I was not using it and for carrying it around in. I have now given it to my daughter, as I have a newer pull along one. This one though, is suitable for storing your laptop or notebook in when indoors, but I would not recommend it for travelling, as it is not that padded enough for protection really. Tomtom - just in case! . . .

Advantages: Protects.
Disadvantages: None.

...First the technical stuff, the case is made of plastic, ethylene-vinyl acetate actually, which is a form of soft thermoplastic, including recycled materials, so you could say you are doing your bit for the environment. The outer covering is hardwearing Nylon. The carry case comes complete with a wrist strap, although personally I would not trust it. It has an improved zip, apparently the old one was prone to jamming. The picture Ciao have put up is of the old model, the new one is very similar, just a little more subtle. These cases are a good idea for keeping dust and scratches at bay, however, it may have been a better idea if the case was fitted with belt loops, so you could carry it on your belt, or a strap like binoculars have, rather than risk it slipping out of your pocket, or even leaving it in the car. SONY - Are we paying for the name???

Advantages: Good quality, durable
Disadvantages: Over priced, Uncomfortable handles.

...comment on how easy or usefull it is. The main handles on the bag are made from a hard plastic and although are moulded to fit together do not have a very comfortable feel if you need to carry the item a long way. Softer feeling handles would be of great benefit. This brings me back to my original question, are we paying for the sony name??? Well it is a good quality case that has stood the test of time in an array of situations at work, but there are plenty of other brands out there today which can compete with this case for half the cost. If it were my own money, think i would buy something a little cheaper....

PS2 carry case review

...Unfortunately i have to give this product my very first "Very poor", as i bought one and was deeply inimpressed with the slow reactions and unhelpful assistance of the software manufactures. The Logic 3 PS2 Carry Kit barely fitted my PS2 slimeline, and when i did finnally push it in and ajust it so the zip would close, the carry kit did not protect the PS2 much, as one of the zips inside it scratched the edges of my PS2. The manufactures when i reported this to them said that it was my fault and that the carry case works for most slimeline PS2's. (???) They refused to replace the carry kit or the PS2 and i was left with the thing that is now in the rubbish bins. I reccomend this item to everyone that wants to break their PS2 or anybody that likes to waste money. This item has won my "Worst product ever" award of 2008!!...

Great Case For Sony Cyber-Shot Camera
