Musically Motoring.... (UPDATED ** My Opinion)

Advantages: Easy to use, great value for money, excellent features

  Enter the Sony!

Advantages: Packed with extras, looks good and feels good.

  Another 5 star Sony!

Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images.
Disadvantages: The kit lens isnt the best and no live view may bother some.

...For a while now I have been receiving private mails on both Dooyoo and on Ciao asking me to review the Sony A200 DSLR camera, this is because I have made mention of it in a few of my camera reviews lately but never actually got down to doing a full write up on it. I haven't reviewed it previously for a couple of reasons mainly though that I had up until now only had a few hours experience of the unit. Now with a whole weeks shooting with it under my belt and over 1000 pictures taken with it I feel much more capable of writing a thorough review on it. Advantages: Wait a minute, it's in the review
Disadvantages: Not many but the ones there are pretty shrill

...screen displays the image before your lens at 4:3 ratio. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T900 is an extremely compact, attractive to say the least and fast snapshot camera albeit with questionable battery life, touchscreen and the quality of image hardly justifies the price tag attched to it. But then it’s more of ‘status’ camera endowed with fashionable and great design which ofcourse has its own price. This may put off some one who is staunch techie but customers knows better. No doubt you can capture a precious moment real fast. A REAL NOTE OF CAUTION: Since you have decied in favor of Sony Cyber-Shot DSC T900 please use with maximum care, the spares are too damn expensive....

Advantages: Good looks, easy use, great MP3 player, built-in transmitter

If there are tall trees on either side of the road, then forget it. This model is not alone here, my old TomTom was the same. Another snag is when roads are re-aligned, the software is not kept up to date, the M62/A1 junction is a good example, the sat navs just get lost here, not a major problem if you know where you are, but it does defeat the object surely? The name is also one possible backward step, names like Walkman are legendary, but who is going to wax lyrical about their Sony NV-U52 GPS receiver, when TOMTOM is easier? Point and shoot the Sony way!

Advantages: Great features, good image quality and all at a great price.
Disadvantages: Only a couple (see review)!

...The last camera review I wrote was on the fantastic Sony A700 DSLR and at the time I mentioned that Sony are still very new in the DSLR market, they are however very well established in the point and shoot market and the camera I am reviewing today (the Cyber-shot DSC-W220) is the latest in their fabulous Cyber-shot W range. It comes in the usual range of colours (silver, black, blue and red, with a pink version no doubt on the way soon). It was only released in March so it is still relatively new on the market but the price has come down fairly quickly, having been released at over £200 you can now pick one up for around the £140 mark.
