Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900

Capture the perfct shot, with Sony Cyber-shot.

Advantages: Great zoom, and clear pictures.
Disadvantages: Quite highly priced, and not likely to be returned to you if you loose it.

...optical zoom you can capture subjects from the distance, I didn't truly appreciate this until I'd lost this camea, and bought the Nixon Coolpix, of wich i would not recommend to anyone, it is significantly cheaper, but this shows in the quality of the pictures, the nikon coolpix s slim, and extremely lightweight, (Sony cyber-shot is neither, weighing 135g) but the Nikon's zoom, lacks any greatness. The sony cyber-shot is a great first hand camera, with easy to use features and simple, clear instructions. The buttons are clearly marked with what they are for, and overall this is a great camera, of which I was gutted to loose, and would love to have again....

Sony Cyber-shot - DSC - T10

Advantages: Small, light, good battery, many features, good quality pictures.
Disadvantages: Smaller LCD screen.

...The Sony Cyber-shot T10 is a great little camera. I've bought a newer Cyber shot but I still prefer using this one at times as it is much easier to access all the different features and you don't have to be a technology whizz to know how to fully make use of all that it can do. It's small, light and great for just throwing into your purse on your way out. The LCD screen is not as big as the new touch screen Sony Cyber-shot's but it's strong and big enough. The camera gives you greater creative freedom to adjust color mode for the creative results you want so if you enjoy photography and like experimenting with different modes you'll love this one. The battery power lasts long and the timing feature which tells you how much time you have left on the battery is spot on and this has helped me in the past. It won't let you down!...

Cyber shot, The future doesn't need to be so complicated!

Advantages: Really easy to use and not too big or heavy
Disadvantages: Not ideal for somebody interested in all the latest technological advancements

...With regards to electronical devices, I am a person who is pretty set in her ways, and for me it's no different with phones. I've had a Sony Ericsson for many years, the K800i previously, unfortunately it was second hand and the connection from the buttons stopped working, and it was driving me insane, sometimes it took me about 20 minutes to get to a text message! So plainly and simply, I had to get a new phone. No matter how much I didn't want to. At the beginning of the new year my other half bought me the Cyber Shot. I have to be honest, I was skeptical at first, not because of the phone itself but because it was probably going to be something I wasn't used to. Something too new and confusing for me It wasnt. :) Although it effectively is just an updated version of my older phone the K800i, I feel that this phone would be ideal...

It is silver in colour with a easy to view good sized screen display. It has a varying zoom setting to make things further away easier to picture. I have taken lots of pictures with this camera and used nearly all the settings it has including the sports mode which i find really usefull for photographing moving objects. The pictures come out in really good sharp quality all most life like so we have treasured photos to keep forever. It isn't very good when the light is not so good but the flash does help improve this but then the picture quality as not as good as it would be in broad...

SONY CYBER-SHOT??? IMPRESSIVE!!!

Advantages: Excellent pictures and the ofcourse equiped with the image stabilizing technology.
Disadvantages: Proprietary batteries and not surpisingly the "red eye problems".

The relevant specifications for this camera are 8 Megapixels Touch screen Super Steady Shot Up to ISO 3200 5x Optical zoom The touch screen, is a little gimmicky, but it has the advantage of speeding up your selections when selecting menus. It is clear, large, and and one of the most important aspects to me is that you can see it clearly in the sun light. One of the problems that I did have was that some of the settings have to be activated through the advanced settings section.This does slow you down a bit when starting off .Would be better if everything was there from the start It has a large optical zoom which i did find useful...

Disadvantages: The intuitive touch screen interface can lead to problems

...This camera is heavily based on Sonys' previous camera the T10 and shares most of the same features. The big feature that you first notice on this camera is a lack of buttons present. This is because those buttons have been incorporated into a touch screen display to give to camera a less cluttered look. The touch screen buttons are nice and large so you can easily see what you want to use. The one main draw back is that certain feature you may want to use are a couple of 'layers' down in the menu meaning you have to use mutliple button pushes and navigate the menu which can be annoying whereas, with a more conventional camera it would just take one button push. The touch screen deffinitely is a 'love it or hate it' system and pretty much comes down to user preferance, if you are comfortable using touch screen then this will be...

I got mine last month for my birthday. ~~~~~~ STYLE ~~~~~~ The style of this mobile is awesom. it great to hold in your hand and the best thing is the camera lens can be covered up when you are done with it. you have buttons on the front at the top left nd right which takes you to your pictures a button near the bottom on the right that take you to capturing videos or photos a play pause button on the left side at the top. and two buttons on the right near the top that can change the volume when you listen to your music or when you take photos or videos it zooms in. the main button that you use to direct yourself around the phone i dont like much but you get used to it. you also have a slot for a memory card on the left hand side of your phone as you dont get much memory...
