Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T50
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50S by
fonzone
Advantages: Excellent compact camera at a great price
Disadvantages: Needs a carry case
...I\'m quite new to digital cameras and wanted my first one to be the best I could get. I done my homework and every time I checked cameras out it came to one conclusion - that the Sony DSC-T50 was the best out there.
My first impression was on how small and stylish it is - I couldn\'t really believe that all the features are crammed into such a small camera. It has all the features you would expect from a digital camera and the pictures it takes are amazing. The 3\" touch screen is excellent and on it\'s own is a great way to view your snaps. Showing them on TV is better though, as the phone has some excellent slide shows in which you can add your own music to play alongside them.
It also records video brilliantly as well - i\'ve recorded better video\'s on this camera than I have seen on much more costly camcorders. The camera comes...

Capture your most precious memories
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 by
EricaT24
Advantages: Easy to use, good picture quality
Disadvantages: MemoryStick Duo must be purchased seperately
...Intro:
-----------
I have been the proud owner of a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 for about 18 months now and I have to say I have never owned a better camera. Everything about it is excellent!!
Price:
--------
At the time I paid £350 for it but, having just 'googled' the product you can now pick one up for around £150-200. Yes, £350 was a lot of money to pay for a camera but it has certainly been put to the best use keeping a record of my daughter growing up and capturing our most precious memories.
Overview of Features:
------------
7.2 Megapixels,
Memory Stick Duo,
LCD display,
Touchscreen menu,
3 x optical zoom,
Super steadyshot,
Slide show function with music,
Internal memory 56mb,
USB 2.0 High spped transfer.
The camera comes with instruction manual, battery recharger, USB cable and editing software, wrist strap.

Sony CYBER-SHOT DSC-T50
Review of Sony CYBER-SHOT DSC-T50 by
James.Egginton
Advantages: Very stylish camera that can produce good quality prints
Disadvantages: The intuitive touch screen interface can lead to problems
...This camera is heavily based on Sonys' previous camera the T10 and shares most of the same features.
The big feature that you first notice on this camera is a lack of buttons present. This is because those buttons have been incorporated into a touch screen display to give to camera a less cluttered look. The touch screen buttons are nice and large so you can easily see what you want to use. The one main draw back is that certain feature you may want to use are a couple of 'layers' down in the menu meaning you have to use mutliple button pushes and navigate the menu which can be annoying whereas, with a more conventional camera it would just take one button push.
The touch screen deffinitely is a 'love it or hate it' system and pretty much comes down to user preferance, if you are comfortable using touch screen then this will be a big...

Small digital camera big on features.
Review of Sony CYBER-SHOT DSC-T50 by
dobieg
Advantages: Astonishingly small, amazing image quality
Disadvantages: Highlights dust in flash pictures
...'She who must be obeyed' dropped her 35mm 'compact' camera on a night out, having decided it really wasn't worth fixing, we started looking for a replacement digital camera.
I've always been a devotee of Olympus kit, since the days of the legendary OM1 (reviewed previously) and whilst I'm extremely happy with my C-8080WZ (also reviewed previously) it is, to be fair, a bit chunky, and bristling with buttons.
The boss holds true to the principle of 'less is more' and the Sony DSC-T50 meets that criterion admirably.
The T50 is currently the top of the range 'Cyber-shot' camera from Sony.
It shares the same basic format - a thin oblong block, with a sliding cover over a rather small objective lens.
Unlike a lot of 'compacts' it doesn't rely on a motorised 'snout' which pushes the lens forward on power-up, instead it has ingenious static...

Sony W80 cybershot
Review of Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 by
y4s33n
Advantages: Size, Design, Price, Shutter speed, Picture quality
Disadvantages: Red-eye,
...with 7.2 mega pixels there is no messing around, this camera provides excelent picture quality with just a simple press on the shutter. photos came out excelent with very sharp details. Along with the auto-focus, the shutter lag speed is absolutely immense allowing one to take a picture almost instantly, or multiple with this camera.
the camera also offers up to 3x optical zoom and a further 3x digital zoom, once the camera goes in to digital zoom the picture quality begins to go lack somewhat.
sony top it all of with slim and stylish design of the small sized camera that will fit nicely in to your pocket. camera's durability was pretty impressive aswell, it withstood fallin many times on the floor aswell as falling in a swimming pool.
overall this camera is excelent value for money...

do only looks matter???
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX33 by
reemi
Advantages: sleek, elegant, sharp, attractive
Disadvantages: picture quality is not that good
...Panasonic has dissappointed us with this product of theirs. It Simply doesnt look to be Panasonic. I have used many 8 mega pixel cameras and this seems to be the worst one. But if you go for the looks and easy handling camera than you could have this as your choice. It has a stylish slim compact body and a wide angle Leica DC lens that can fit a wide image, but you can get this better with a Sony cybershot photography camera, but the cybershot wont be this stylish. Panasonic have got a great feel to the body i must say. It attracts you the moment you see it. A big Lcd adds to the looks. But if Panasonic works on the function aswell as the form, then i suppose there is going to be nothing like this. To people who wana buy this, i would recommend a Cybershot...

My Sony Cyber-shot
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W17 by
aleckjohnston
Advantages: Sleek Black with included picture package
Disadvantages: Needs large memory stick - due to high quality
...>. My Sony Cyber-shot .<
When purchasing a new digital camera, it is very hard to see to choose which one to buy as there are so many on the market, and now all the prices are being driven town. As background information I purchased my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W17 from www.amazon.co.uk for £202 - and those who have used amazon will truly know that the service provided is second to none. I shall start with the general technical jargon about the camera.
>. Technical .<
The camera will gently fit into your palm as its dimensions are 9.1 cm x 3.7 cm x 6 cm and weighing in at less than 0.2kg it is truly one that can be slid comfortably into the pockets of your jeans.
As stated above the camera is a jet black which is a pleasant change from all of this 'naf' silver that we see the these days. It does not comprimise technology with style...
