I some times wonder why people don't actually use this video recording device for their daily video activities is it that it costs or that people prefer the use of camera phones well from some friends mouth, they say that camera phones are more economical and produces good quality pictures like the camcorders but I strongly disagree with that because this is specifically developed for the purpose of filming and on the second hand, it has a hard disk drive that will enable more recordings and savings. ...This is truely an excellent Digital Camcorder, the touch screen display make setting all the features up really easy and makes them all quickly acessable. The Unit is really well made and has excellent conectivity via Firewire to your PC. The battery is not the best in the world and last a maximum of an hour and a half in normall conditions. The Camcorder has a very good loading mechanism for the Mini-DV tapes, which are quite reasonably priced in most shops and even better on-line! The DCR-PC8E is excellently laid out for all of the controls that are not provided by the touch screen and can all be used with your hand in the carrying strap. ...I have been using this product for a lengthy period of time, and have found it easy to use, despite my lack of technical experience. I was abl e to use all features with little difficulty, and feel that the price is suitable for the quality of both the product itself and the photos it priduces. It is a perfect size, and easy to carry around, therefore for holiday travellers, it is perfect for making photos to remember your holiday times. I have recommended this to many of my friends, and I am sure that many of you will also enjoy using this product. Personally, I feel it was worth every penny, and feel it is a great bargain. ...The DCR PC 330 is one of the latest camcorder on the bloc. It boasts of a 3.3 mega pixel resolution picture quality. I used the camcorder myself and I fully agree with that. The video quality is amazing and I can easily see the difference in video quality between the DCR TRV 355 digital 8 and the DCR PC 330E. The design is compact. Though, it could have been a bit more smaller. It's still uncomfortable on medium and small sized hands. You will feel the itch when you suddenly decide to zoom in on a wanted object and start fumbling around. With the zooming button being placed near to the lens, it's difficult to reach for an average sized hand.
