Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T50
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50S by
fonzone
Advantages: Excellent compact camera at a great price
Disadvantages: Needs a carry case
...I\'m quite new to digital cameras and wanted my first one to be the best I could get. I done my homework and every time I checked cameras out it came to one conclusion - that the Sony DSC-T50 was the best out there.
My first impression was on how small and stylish it is - I couldn\'t really believe that all the features are crammed into such a small camera. It has all the features you would expect from a digital camera and the pictures it takes are amazing. The 3\" touch screen is excellent and on it\'s own is a great way to view your snaps. Showing them on TV is better though, as the phone has some excellent slide shows in which you can add your own music to play alongside them.
It also records video brilliantly as well - i\'ve recorded better video\'s on this camera than I have seen on much more costly camcorders. The camera comes...

Capture your most precious memories
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 by
EricaT24
Advantages: Easy to use, good picture quality
Disadvantages: MemoryStick Duo must be purchased seperately
...Intro:
-----------
I have been the proud owner of a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 for about 18 months now and I have to say I have never owned a better camera. Everything about it is excellent!!
Price:
--------
At the time I paid £350 for it but, having just 'googled' the product you can now pick one up for around £150-200. Yes, £350 was a lot of money to pay for a camera but it has certainly been put to the best use keeping a record of my daughter growing up and capturing our most precious memories.
Overview of Features:
------------
7.2 Megapixels,
Memory Stick Duo,
LCD display,
Touchscreen menu,
3 x optical zoom,
Super steadyshot,
Slide show function with music,
Internal memory 56mb,
USB 2.0 High spped transfer.
The camera comes with instruction manual, battery recharger, USB cable and editing software, wrist strap.

*** Sony fixed the battery problem for free!
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P1 by
baublebag
Advantages: compact size, ease of use
Disadvantages: Notorious battery problems
...If, like me, you bought a DSC-P1 and were plagued by battery unreliabilty, check the Sony UK support web site. When I looked today (July 04) they were still offering to fix this for free.
I had put my DSC-P1 away in a drawer swearing not to buy a Sony camera ever again until somebody else tipped me off about the free fix. This offer may be time-limited, I don't know, but when I had mine done back in April they collected, fixed, and returned it all for free.
I was then able to sell it with a clear conscience (for a fraction of what I paid, needless to say) and buy a Nikon, phew!
However, I have to say that the Sony's still look good if you don't need semi-pro facilities and want a camera that is stylish and small, although this is now an obsolete model of course. But consider carefully whether you want to be stuck with their weird...

DSC-P50
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P50 by
davidcraig_2004
Advantages: Long battery life
Disadvantages: low resolution
...The Sony DSC-P50 is the second digital camera that I have purchased. The first was a cheap minolta camera for £100 with a highest resolution of 640x480. The DSC-P50 comes with an optional Litium battery which reduces the cost of batteries and also lasts about 100 hours of a 30 minute charge.
The highest resolution of the P50 is 1600x1200, the lowest being 800x600. The camera takes sony memory sticks from 4mb which is included up to 128mb. At lowest resolution the camera can take about 200 photo's with a 128mb memory stick.
Another feature of the camera is a movie capture mode with a resolution of 320x160 which on a 128mb stick captures about 35 minutes of movie but with no sound.
The camera is connectable to PC via a USB cable and has a video out which can be connected to a television or pc and can make the camera act as a cctv...

Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 by
big.birdy
Advantages: features, light, small, 3.0" lcd
Disadvantages: none
...The main selling points for this camera are:
- Sleek Design / Size
- Large LCD

Sleek Design
Sony have good designer in Carl Zeis, the camera is like most sony products as it really looks the part. Made in silver with easy to find controls the design has not got in the way of the ease of use. It'[s also super light at 130g making it easy to fit in your pocket
Large LCD
The Large 3.0" Touch Screen makes it really easy to visualize the image you want and to show others what you have taken
Image Quality
With 7.2 megapixel lense the quality is supurb

Sony CYBER-SHOT DSC-T50
Review of Sony CYBER-SHOT DSC-T50 by
James.Egginton
Advantages: Very stylish camera that can produce good quality prints
Disadvantages: The intuitive touch screen interface can lead to problems
...This camera is heavily based on Sonys' previous camera the T10 and shares most of the same features.
The big feature that you first notice on this camera is a lack of buttons present. This is because those buttons have been incorporated into a touch screen display to give to camera a less cluttered look. The touch screen buttons are nice and large so you can easily see what you want to use. The one main draw back is that certain feature you may want to use are a couple of 'layers' down in the menu meaning you have to use mutliple button pushes and navigate the menu which can be annoying whereas, with a more conventional camera it would just take one button push.
The touch screen deffinitely is a 'love it or hate it' system and pretty much comes down to user preferance, if you are comfortable using touch screen then this will be a big...

Digital camera for experts and beginners alike
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P12 by
Deef11
Advantages: High quality, Easy to use, compact
Disadvantages: Expensive
...The Sony Cyber-shot DSC P12 is an excellent digital camera. It's easy to use and follows the same format as all of the other Sony Cyber-shot DSC cameras. The superior picture quality is evident when viewing images on a PC, and combining this with a good quality printer and photo paper means hard copy images can be produced, which are easily as good as normal photos.
There is a huge range of available settings on the camera and this is helpful for more advanced photographers and beginners who wish to develop their skills. The easy to follow instruction manual also helps this development.
A large memory card is required with the camera and the 32Mb card provided is not sufficient for storing a weeks holiday snaps for example.
With the Sony Cyber-shot DSC range, you get what you pay for, with price reflecting quality. The DSC P12...

Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 Camera, A1 Choice
Review of Sony Cybershot DSC-W80 by
traveller10
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: Red eye effect
...I have to admit I really like the Sony DSC W80 alot.
Camera buffs will really appreciate the fact that there is virtually no shutter delay. This means that you incase the odds of always getting your shot with this camera.
With regards to performance erformance in lowlight, this camera does performs well, but unfortunately it is not so good with the red eye effect. However on the plus side it is very capable of takeing a decent shot outside.
One of the of the other really good areas of the camera is the low noise level of it. .
Pictures quality - very good and the picture scales very well with higher ISO sensitivities, being usable all the way up to ISO 800 if you’re printing regular 4in x 6in prints, and ISO 400 if making enlargements. I was pleasantly surprised by this as it is unusual for a compact camera to do this as I have...

attractive moments
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F77 by
nikkimah
Advantages: quality shot
Disadvantages: size
...Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F77 is the first digital camera I own. Its unique features enhances the image itself.
It is the only 4.0 digital camera I know that which lense can rotate 300 degrees to suit your direction of photography. The DSC-F77's sleak shape and colour attracts attention from far away.
The image size of the DSC-F77 starts from 640 x 480 to 2272 x 1704. You are able to pick your picture size and quality. That is one of the unique features that it carries. Besides that, the DSC-F77 carries the advanced Carl Zeiss Distagon lens technology . The Carl Zeiss Distagon lens is created for user's needs to shoot outstanding images in any shooting conditions.
There's another strong feature about this DSC-F77 which is the ability to take short video clips. There is no limited time for these videos. It goes as long until there isn't...
