Sony DVP-NS355 CD/DVD Player

Advantages: Ultra slim and very easy to use.
Disadvantages: No scart lead supplied and not Multi-region.

...I've been using this DVD player for a few months now and it came as part of a deal with my Sony TV. I have to say that it has to be the best DVD player I have had to date in terms of quality and features. Despite having no scart lead in the box, it was no dilema as I have a few spare about the house but I guess it can be very frustrating to anyone that doesn't, purely for the inconvenience of having to buy one seperately. I did however find some audio leads a free Toy Story DVD feature film in the box, which was a nice suprise. I'm not sure if this is a standard freebie with the DVD player. It plays DVD's, DVD-RW, CD's, VCD and Data CD. Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images.
Disadvantages: The kit lens isnt the best and no live view may bother some.

Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900

Point and shoot the Sony way!

Advantages: Great features, good image quality and all at a great price.
Disadvantages: Only a couple (see review)!

...The last camera review I wrote was on the fantastic Sony A700 DSLR and at the time I mentioned that Sony are still very new in the DSLR market, they are however very well established in the point and shoot market and the camera I am reviewing today (the Cyber-shot DSC-W220) is the latest in their fabulous Cyber-shot W range. It comes in the usual range of colours (silver, black, blue and red, with a pink version no doubt on the way soon). It was only released in March so it is still relatively new on the market but the price has come down fairly quickly, having been released at over £200 you can now pick one up for around the £140 mark.
