Advantages: good for music and entertainment in general. Pedometer feature and shake feature v good

...I had never had a sony ericsson before and some how i got the impression that they would have been complicated to use. How wrong I was!! Being strictly a nokia buyer in the past i had felt a little aprehensive about this purchase. I got the phone for around 150 pounds in Argos which was a special deal on pay as you talk vodafone. I was surprised at the slim body of the phone as sony ericssons in the past have been chunky. It fits very nice in the hand and looks very smart . The phone came in a really smart little red box like a cube with software for the computer,a cable,instructions, headphones and charger. I couldn't wait to use my new purchase so i plugged it in for charge and turnt it on and it already had half a battery which was a very nice thing if you want your new phone straight away. ...Sony Ericsson k800i Mobile Phone (Special Edition) I have had this phone for about six months now and it really in my opinion is a great phone to have. However my friend also has this phone but not the special edition version and I personally feel that she has got the better phone. Now you would think that a special edition phone would be far superior to the bog standard version. This is not the case however, the only difference that we have found between our phones is the fact that mine is a flashy silver colour and hers is a more slicker black colour. The bad side however to owing the silver edition of this phone is that is has a significant amount of chips and wearing to the edges where as hers looks as good as the day she bought it! We both shove our phones in our bags and let them bounce around but mine really does...

Mine was originally obtained from a contract a few years back but it's currently worth around £70 when bought new, but much less on eBay. It's a candy bar phone with a camera and the ability of playing MP3s out loud. NAVIGATION Navigation is very zippy and I've not experienced any crashes. Moving from screen to screen and selecting the desired options is very easy using the directional buttons. ...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Sony Ericsson K800i - great phone

Advantages: Joystick and great camera.
Disadvantages: Screen scratched quite easily.

.... Sony Ericsons predictive texting takes some getting used to - especially if you've been used to a Nokia as I had. And it had annoying drop down menus with replacement words - it took me ages to figure out how to get rid of them. Once I did though, it was fine. All in all, it is a smart phone and very easy to just pick up and use straight off. Having only ever had Nokias, I was reluctant to change to anything else, but glad I did....

...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily...

Advantages: slim, light-weight, feature packed phone

...I have had Sony Ericsson phone for the last 3 or 4 years now and am very happy with them. I find they are the easiest to use (nokia come very close) and they are good quality feature packed phones. This phone is not an exception. If you have used Sony Ericsson before you will be familiar with most of the features on this phone - the only difference really is the appearance and one or two features have been added or upgraded. If you are considering getting this phone, I would imagine you won't have to pay for it, it will be free on most contracts or around £200 sim-free! Shop around for the best deals? As this is a slide phone, you can answer a call by simply opening the phone up and end the call by closing it?it also locks automatically when it is closed which is good.
