...I bought this phone three days ago at a shopping mall. One reason why I purchased this phone is for the sole purpose of playing. Another reason is that I found its looks attractive and stylish, with its nice exterior finishes. I don't have a Nintendo Wii and I am a fan of it. However, I found the F305 to be the best substitute for the Wii, whilst experimenting with its features last night at the comfort of my home.   Black Sleek & Stylish Sony Ericsson Get It Spot On

Sony Ericsson's Finest!

Advantages: Great looks, feels well made, great functions
Disadvantages: Could do with a better camera.

...doens't seem too different. However, it employs an 'Arc Slider' design, meaning the sliding process is somewhat 'curved'. It really does add a unique aspect to the design, and sets it apart from the other handsets that have the same sliding keyboard design. The opening and closing of the handset feels smooth, and it is also spring assisted. The handset comes in a choice of silver or black. However, both of these are metal, which really gives the handset a robust and well designed feel. ...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. ...Please Note: Review was written quite a few months and has been updated. Why buy a digital camera when you can get an excellent camera and a phone in one! I had this sony ericsson k800i for about a year and a half and even though i must have dropped it like 100 times its still working really good! I've currently got another sony ericsson phone (see my review on c905). I'd say the camera on it is the best thing as it 3.2 mega pixel, the "cybershot" name pretty much gives it away on how sony erisson have made yet another gerat camera phone. As im always printing out actual photos in great quality, you would never guess they were from a phone. The camera section includes: Auto focus so the face is detected and makes taking photos easier, Picture blogging, Xenon flash which enables you to take good quality photos indoors and outdoors...

...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily...
