Advantages: 3G, Longer Battery life, Camera, Audio quality,
Disadvantages: Video playback, no dedicated music keys (but this is K series not W series):-)

...is no firmware available for this phone. Nokia stopped it i suppose. Constant updates and support from Sony Ericsson. BASS effect is very good and headphone clarity is very good. 5310 sound clarity messes up when equalizer is set and at full volume. Well JAVA applications are well supported than 5310. For instance Opera JAVA edition installed with ease while it had troubles with my 5310. The Firmware of K530i is strongly built while 5310 hangs for me when listening to music and messaging at same time 8/10 times. Battery life of 5310 is really crap. Life time is only 30-40 minutes when hearing to songs thru. speakers after fully charging the phone. But after full charge, K530i music playback lasted for nearly 4.5 hours with still two bars of battery left. Also voice clarity in K530i is better than that of 5310 Xpress...

Advantages: Awesome outlook, picture and sound quality, a lot of useful features.
Disadvantages: Haven't find anything bad so far.

...Sony Ericsson K530i - my review INTRODUCTION: I have used Sony Ericsson W200i since 2005, and now, few months ago I bought Sony Ericsson K530i. I didn't need anything amazing, I just needed simple phone for working, mostly I call and send sms-s with that and this is pretty good phone for that. Why I chose Sony Ericsson? 1) One good thing about Sony Ericsson phones, is surely battery life. 2) Sound and picture quality is awesome. 3) Sony Ericsson phones are with excellent quality. As I already said, my old phone was Sony Ericsson W200i, it was walkman, but I didn't find anything wonderful about the walkman, so this time, I decided to buy Sony Ericsson phone, which don't have walkman music player. First time, I used it, I found out some music player, and in my opinion, it was exactly same as walkman music player...

K530i on Three UK

Advantages: A good phone and good for the money
Disadvantages: Buttons feel a bit weak, checking the balance is annoying, pointless Music Store button

...phones made me decide I wanted a phone by this manufacturer. However, in all the reviews of Sony Ericsson phones, one problem stood out: the joystick was very weak and was soon rendered useless. Needless to say, my initial budget of around ten pounds was pushed right up to sixty pounds and I bought the joystickless Sony Ericsson K530i with favourable reviews. This phone has many features so it would be best if one were to view them on Sony Ericsson's own website, but I will mention some of them here. Despite its many features, first and foremost this is a phone, so this is what I should be describing. I haven't made many phone calls with this as I'm not a great user of phones, be they mobile or otherwise, so my description may not be very accurate, but so far the sound has been of a good qaulity and the volume can be turned up loudly...

Sony Ericsson K530i- experienced user. On 3uk Contract

Advantages: Easy to Use, Hardwearing, never lets you down.
Disadvantages: only a 2.o megapixel camera but not a huge problem.

...In my opinion this is one of the most practical and trustworthy phones i have ever owned. I have had two years experience of using this phone and have never had any difficulties. It has an easy to use main menu, many features and an ability to chose from many themes for that ultimate customization. The camera is now slightly out of date as most new phones come with something like an 8megapixel camera, whereas this is only a 2megapixel, however the picture is still clear enough. This phone was speciafically for the 3 netowrk when i purchased it which gave it even more features such as planet3, for easy cheap internet surfing. I also found this a great and simple way to check your mins & txts. Overall a reliable and easy to use phone with the added exciting features....

Good, nearly very good...

Advantages: It works! Nothing badly wrong with it!
Disadvantages: software could be much better...

...This is (touch wood) the first phone I've had that I've actually really liked! It's not gone wrong, broken or seriously frustrated me yet, all of which normally happen within a week. It feels sturdy and is fairly easy to use. Reasonable camera, decent battery, mp3 player and you can put m2 cards up to 2gb in (about £12 from play.com) and they work, pretty fast too. You can add music by just plugging it in to any computer (USB) and copying files, including macs etc, without needing fancy software. It just works! Not at all true of my old Nokia, grr... The only gripe I have is that the music and video playing software is unneccessarily pants. 'Music player' works and is reliable, but is the most crude mp3 player possible. It's full of little signs that Sony Ericsson put no effort at all into designing it - e.g. it takes a minimum of 5...

Advantages: free 515mb memory card, extra options, "Shuffle" control and music & picture quality very good
Disadvantages: buttons crack and stop working for no reason at all!

...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. On the Sony Ericsson W580i you can listen to the local radio station, Play the Games (My phone came with two games), TrackID (This you put your phone next to a speaker and the song is ID'd but comes with a price), Video Player. A "Video dj" Which allows you to add your videos together, PhotoDJ which allows you to edit...

The Self Destructing S500i from Sony Ericsson

Advantages: Seems ok.
Disadvantages: Might be complete and utter failure

...My friend bought this phone, roughly a year ago at a what was a fair price back then. The S500i is aimed at women, and has a special feature that will change your theme (when you open and close your phone, by sliding it). In January you will get cold colours which will slowly change and become lighter and greener, perfectly in time for spring and so on. I've heard it is quite nice in December when it is christmassy. And with a black cover and green keypad it can look quite nice. The menu is fairly simple and can be changed, but basically has 12 icons. Like most sony ericssons. On the front you have two soft keys, the back key, the clear key and two shortcuts. You also have the navigation buttons and the the middle button has a contrasting green trim. But why I am reviewing my friend's phone...? Well you will soon know...

...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily...

Sony Ericsson's Finest!

Advantages: Great looks, feels well made, great functions

...The Sony Ericsson X1 is the first in the new range of Xperia products by Sony Ericsson. Although the product isn't released until 30th September 2008, I have had the pleasure to use one of the pre-production models for around two weeks. Whilst there are improvements on the launch model, I am confident that the pre-production model has given me an insight in to what to expect from this handset. The X1 is the first, and possibly the last Sony Ericsson handset to use the Windows as an operating system. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Sony Ericsson have not yet commented on whether the handset can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 7, however it doesn't seem they plan to release any further Windows based handsets.
