Sony Ericsson k800i Mobile Phone (Special Edition)

Advantages: great phone
Disadvantages: small memory initially

...Sony Ericsson k800i Mobile Phone (Special Edition) I have had this phone for about six months now and it really in my opinion is a great phone to have. However my friend also has this phone but not the special edition version and I personally feel that she has got the better phone. Now you would think that a special edition phone would be far superior to the bog standard version. This is not the case however, the only difference that we have found between our phones is the fact that mine is a flashy silver colour and hers is a more slicker black colour. The bad side however to owing the silver edition of this phone is that is has a significant amount of chips and wearing to the edges where as hers looks as good as the day she bought it! We both shove our phones in our bags and let them bounce around but mine really does...

Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone

Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!

...Having recently been eligible for a free phone upgrade through my network provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. Advantages: free 515mb memory card, extra options, "Shuffle" control and music & picture quality very good

...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Sony Ericsson's Finest!

Advantages: Great looks, feels well made, great functions
Disadvantages: Could do with a better camera.

...The Sony Ericsson X1 is the first in the new range of Xperia products by Sony Ericsson. Although the product isn't released until 30th September 2008, I have had the pleasure to use one of the pre-production models for around two weeks. Whilst there are improvements on the launch model, I am confident that the pre-production model has given me an insight in to what to expect from this handset. The X1 is the first, and possibly the last Sony Ericsson handset to use the Windows as an operating system. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Advantages: Thin, Good Memory, Aesthetically pleasing, good value for money.

...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. ...This is a good mobile phone with lots of features. This mobile phone may be quite old today but it is very useful. If you are just a basic user of a phone like I am then this is as perfect for you as it is to me. It has all the basic communicating features such as calling, sms texting, WAP, voicemail, email. The keypad is very easy to use when texting, although people with bigger fingers my find it more difficult. The joystick is a huge improvement on the early Sony Ericsson phones as this one does not jam or stick and thus become redundant. There are also quick shortcut buttons to accessing the WAP, pictures and to the shortcut menu, which are handy. The screen is a decent size with great picture quality especially when you are taking pictures using the 3.2 mega pixel camera, which has a built in flash for taking photos in dark areas...

...Please Note: Review was written quite a few months and has been updated. Why buy a digital camera when you can get an excellent camera and a phone in one! I had this sony ericsson k800i for about a year and a half and even though i must have dropped it like 100 times its still working really good! I've currently got another sony ericsson phone (see my review on c905). I'd say the camera on it is the best thing as it 3.2 mega pixel, the "cybershot" name pretty much gives it away on how sony erisson have made yet another gerat camera phone. As im always printing out actual photos in great quality, you would never guess they were from a phone. The camera section includes: Auto focus so the face is detected and makes taking photos easier, Picture blogging, Xenon flash which enables you to take good quality photos indoors and outdoors...
