W580i sony ericsson walkman phone
Advantages: good for music and entertainment in general. Pedometer feature and shake feature v good
Disadvantages: pricey and buttons can be annoying at first
...I had never had a sony ericsson before and some how i got the impression that they would have been complicated to use. How wrong I was!! Being strictly a nokia buyer in the past i had felt a little aprehensive about this purchase. I got the phone for around 150 pounds in Argos which was a special deal on pay as you talk vodafone.
I was surprised at the slim body of the phone as sony ericssons in the past have been chunky. It fits very nice in the hand and looks very smart .
The phone came in a really smart little red box like a cube with software for the computer,a cable, instructions, headphones and charger. I couldn't wait to use my new purchase so i plugged it in for charge and turnt it on and it already had half a battery which was a very nice thing if you want your new phone straight away.
You have to get used to...

Sony Erricson W580i
Advantages: free 515mb memory card, extra options, "Shuffle" control and music & picture quality very good
Disadvantages: buttons crack and stop working for no reason at all!
...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it.
The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!!
First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too.
The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones.
On the Sony Ericsson W580i you can listen to the local radio station, Play the Games (My phone came with two games), TrackID (This you put your phone next to a speaker and the song is ID'd but comes with a price), Video Player. A "Video dj" Which allows you to add your videos together, PhotoDJ which allows you to edit...

Sony Ericsson Phone Masters
Advantages: Great phone
Disadvantages: Change the headphones
...**Introduction**
I had been looking for a new phone after my Sony Ericsson k510i was broken after a slight accident with a washing machine. I had been very pleased with the phone so I opted to buy another Sony Ericsson phone and I decided on the k800i. I bought this phone from Carphone Warehouse on Monday and it cost me £79.99, this was part of an offer that gives you £10 credit already on the phone when you buy it. I also picked up a 1gb memory card as part of the deal.
**The Look**
This is a really nice looking phone in my opinion and the look is something that I really like about Sony Ericsson phones. It has a very sturdy look to it and it looks a very stylish phone. The keys are laid out well and the phones menus are very easy to navigate. It is quite a bit bulkier than most phones nowadays but it still has that Sony...

Sony Ericsson Story...
Advantages: Good value for money, excellent sound, good quality camera
Disadvantages: Battery runs down quickly
...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily...

Simple MP3 phone from Sony Ericsson
Advantages: Great battery life, quick, bright torch, Easy to use, Good sound quality, Robust
Disadvantages: Camera not very good, MP3 player button position
...SONY ERICSSON W810i
The Sony Ericsson W810i is an early Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson. Mine was originally obtained from a contract a few years back but it's currently worth around £70 when bought new, but much less on eBay. It's a candy bar phone with a camera and the ability of playing MP3s out loud.
NAVIGATION
Navigation is very zippy and I've not experienced any crashes. Moving from screen to screen and selecting the desired options is very easy using the directional buttons. The Play/Pause button looks like a joystick but luckily it's just a button, which is just as well as later Sony Ericsson phones had a joystick for navigation which was prone to problems. The W810i menu screen is full of little animations, which is nice to look at. The overall theme can be changed and there are even custom ones that can be...

Sony Ericsson's Finest!
Advantages: Great looks, feels well made, great functions
Disadvantages: Could do with a better camera.
...doens't seem too different. However, it employs an 'Arc Slider' design, meaning the sliding process is somewhat 'curved'. It really does add a unique aspect to the design, and sets it apart from the other handsets that have the same sliding keyboard design. The opening and closing of the handset feels smooth, and it is also spring assisted.
The handset comes in a choice of silver or black. However, both of these are metal, which really gives the handset a robust and well designed feel.
The phone used a MiniUSB for charging and data connection, which is also a first in Sony Ericsson handsets.
The screen on this handset is amazing. It has an 800x480 W(Wide)VGA screen. The handset only has 65k colours, as opposed to a lot of other handsets that have 256k. However, you wouldn't know to look at it. The resolution is amazing, and videos...

Sony Ericsson k800i Mobile Phone (Special Edition)
Advantages: great phone
Disadvantages: small memory initially
...Sony Ericsson k800i Mobile Phone (Special Edition)
I have had this phone for about six months now and it really in my opinion is a great phone to have. However my friend also has this phone but not the special edition version and I personally feel that she has got the better phone.
Now you would think that a special edition phone would be far superior to the bog standard version. This is not the case however, the only difference that we have found between our phones is the fact that mine is a flashy silver colour and hers is a more slicker black colour. The bad side however to owing the silver edition of this phone is that is has a significant amount of chips and wearing to the edges where as hers looks as good as the day she bought it! We both shove our phones in our bags and let them bounce around but mine really does...

My Sony Ericsson W580i
Advantages: Thin, Good Memory, Aesthetically pleasing, good value for money.
Disadvantages: Cover is worn quite easily, buttons crack quickly.
...I have had my Sony Ericsson W580i for around 1 and a half years now, after receiving it as a gift from my parents two Christmases ago.
The version of the W580i varied to the dark grey and blue one stated in the picture, and was instead a white and orange version, which was bought on a pay and go tariff on o2.
I was in desperate need of a new mobile and picked the W580i from the Carphone Warehouse catalogue, as it was aesthetically pleasing and had many advantages over my current mobile; 2mp. Camera, a 512mb memory card, and the new format were also appealing to me.
When i first got the phone, i noticed that many of my friends and others i knew had also received the W580i for Christmas - proving it was a popular choice!
17 months on and I?m still using the mobile... Although it is beginning to get a bit dilapidated - possibly due to...

Sony Ericsson W580i in Pink!
Advantages: Nice little compact phone with plenty of features.
Disadvantages: Needed external memory stick in order to make full use of Walkman feature.
...I had the Sony Ericsson W580i as a temporary replacement when my other phone needed repairing.
It cost me just £60 for the pink version as it was a customer return, not used but the seal on the box had been broken.
Anyway back to the phone; was pleasantly surprised by how powerful the phone was considering how small and lightweight it was compared to my previous one, it weighs around 94grams.
The menu function was clear and concise and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I found it quick and easy to enter additional contact infomation that wasn't stored on my Sim Card, and the whole phone was simple to navigate.
The sound clarity when using the Walkman function was very clear and a novel way of shaking the phone to get to the next track was a lot less fiddly than having to keep going into the menu function. The phone...

Sony Ericssons First 3G Cyber Phone!
Advantages: Camera, Cyber-Shot, 3.2MP Camera, Editing Suite
Disadvantages: Joystick
...The Sony Ericsson K810I Cyber - Shot?. Great Phone all-round, and this is what it's all about!
The first impression when it arrived in a brown cardboard box that took all of 21 hours to arrive from O2's depot was WOW! Yep that's right; I tracked the order all the way? I ordered it at 14.20 the previous day, and it arrived 11 am the next morning, not a bad start at all!
On opening the cardboard box you're face to face with a very stylish dark grey and silver box, clearly a Sony Ericsson box, and on opening up you have the contents, these being;
Sony Ericsson K810I Cyber - Shot Phone, (more details to follow).
Sony Ericsson BST - 33 (Type CBA - 0001003) Li - Polmer 3.6v Battery. These are pretty good because they are the batteries that fit into some of the previous models, hence they are cheaper to buy...
