Sony Ericsson T68i
Advantages: It is small and compact.
Disadvantages: Not all of the features always work.
...I received the Sony Ericsson T68i for a birthday
from my parents. I was so excited becuase I had wanted a new mobile for a long time. When I ripped off the wrapping paper and saw what the gift was I was so happy. I left on to charge while I opened the rest of my presents. When the battery had charged I turned it on on the quality of the colours on the screen was excellent. The menu looks exellent and is very well animated. It is very easy to use and the user manual is very helpful. The phone has loads of great features and great games. It is also good because it is small and compact. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality mobile....

Sony Ericsson T68i
Advantages: Good range of functions
Disadvantages: Terrible reception
...I have always had Nokia phones but because my friends decided to get the T68i I though I'd give it a go and persuaded Orange to upgrade me (usual price £149) - what a mistake!
The phone has some great features:
-The five dimensional joystick makes drawing pictures and gaming easy.
-The phone dimensions are 100 x 48 x 20 mm.
-The screen size is 34 x 28 mm.
-Bluetooth wireless technology
-Built-in modem
-Calendar
-Contacts
-E-mail (POP3 & IMAP4)
-Games
-MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service)
-MMS templates
-Mobile chat
-Picture Phonebook
-Phonealbum
-Sync ML
-Synchronization with PC (min req: Win®98, NT4.0, 2000 or WinME)
-Vibrating Call Alert
-Voice Dialling
-Wallpaper download (optional software required)
-Screensaver
-Predictive text input
All these features may sound great but the phone has...

T68i mobile phone
Advantages: Small lightweight & colour screen
Disadvantages: Keys a bit small
...I got fed up with my last phone and wanted something more up to date. The Sony Ericsson T68i seemed to have the all the features I wanted.
Aswell as all the normal phone features: sms, ems(enhanced messaging system), its got the funky mms (multimedia messaging system) which means you can send animated colour messages with text and sound. Its much better than plain old sms.
The other fun stuff are themes and pictures. You can add themes (like p.c. picture themes), which are available on many websites free, and even make your own if you download the free software.
Pitures can be added also (101x80 pixels, 256 colour gifs) so you can customize your phone to suit you. If you have an infra-red output from your p.c, bluetooth or the connecting/data lead for the phone (which you can buy) you could add the photo...

Well done Sony for taking over Ericsson
Advantages: Small, light weight, easy to use
Disadvantages: Camera not as clear as I would have liked
...I upgraded my mobile to this phone about a year ago for roughly £130 but I believe that you can get them on contract from about £50 now depending on what network etc.
Packaging
The packaging that it came in was white with the Sony Ericsson logo, brand name and model number of the phone printed on top. The sides were a dark green with the relevant barcodes stuck onto one side. Inside the box was the phone, battery, charger, instruction manual, radiation information, accessory list and a cd-rom containing software on communication.
Appearance
The front of the phone has a shiny blue panel round the screen and also the name Sony Ericsson printed in white just above the screen but below the microphone. The keypad is in a lovely silver colour with the relevant numbers and letters printed in black and also a blue navigation joystick...

Introducing the all-singing all-dancing T68i
Advantages: small, colour screen, no aerial
Disadvantages: no mobile java, can be slow to respond
...was also a big draw, as my current digital camera doesn't communicate with my PC very well.
USEFUL THINGS
The t68i is very capable of making phone calls, but my old 'charred brick' could do that too. Unfortunately, I signed up with Orange which has poor reception in my area. However, this phone can pick up a signal where others cannot - I have friends on Orange with Sony J7s and 'clamshell' motorolas who cannot get a signal where I can. Sound quality is superb, and much better than my old Ericsson, and better than the Nokias I remember using (this is rather subjective and could be network related as I've changed networks too).
The phone book is well thought out and can hold up to five different numbers for each contact, for mobile, home, work, fax and 'other'. This is excellent as it saves repeating contacts multiple times...

Problems with the T68
Advantages: Stylish, Colour Display, Battery Life
Disadvantages: Slow Menus, Slow T9 SMS writing, Speaker problems
...I bought my T68 on orange a month and 4 days ago, i chose talk plan everytime 400 and got the handset for free from carphone warehouse, they pricematched a website and gave me £30 for a 3210... ( the website for those interested http://www.e2save.com/index2.php )
The phone is great as others have described, i find offline emails great, call quality and battery life better than the 6210, and the phone is just so much more interesting, with hidden games and menus. Tetris can be hours of fun and the new MMS messageing with sound and images will be great as soon as uk networks support it. The only bad thing i have found about the phone is that i can not submit highscores using wap but that is no big loss and i would not like to drop the phone, dont think it would bounce as well as the 6210!
Yesterday i noticed the speaker started...

My T68i!!!!!!
Advantages: Packet with features! Loads of accesories you can buy for it!
Disadvantages: Scratches easily. This can be easily avoided just by buying a cover.
...Hi Everyone :D
I love this phone!
It has everything I need on it.
Fantastic bargin if you can buy it somewhere for under £70. Mine cost me £60 off Ebay. I highly recommend searching it up on Ebay as prices range between £30 - £70.
Personally, I think that it is one of Sony Ericsson's best models. It looks nice, feels nice and costs less than most other phones!!!!!
Compared to some of the latest models S E have come out with, I still think this is the best value for money. Most of them look like small bricks!!!! However the T68i doesn't. No offence to anyone who has a T610 but the T68i has nearly as many features as it and looks much cooler!
Some accesories you can buy for under £20 include:
- A clip on camera
- A clip on mp3 player
- A clip on radio
- A bluetooth remote controlled car
I have saved myself...

Sony Ericsson's Finest!
Advantages: Great looks, feels well made, great functions
Disadvantages: Could do with a better camera.
...The Sony Ericsson X1 is the first in the new range of Xperia products by Sony Ericsson.
Although the product isn't released until 30th September 2008, I have had the pleasure to use one of the pre-production models for around two weeks. Whilst there are improvements on the launch model, I am confident that the pre-production model has given me an insight in to what to expect from this handset.
The X1 is the first, and possibly the last Sony Ericsson handset to use the Windows as an operating system. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Sony Ericsson have not yet commented on whether the handset can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 7, however it doesn't seem they plan to release any further Windows based handsets.
I've noticed quite a few mobiles/PDAs where the keyboard slides out sideways, and in that aspect the X1...

Expected much more from Sony Ericsson
Advantages: Small, stylish, Long battery life
Disadvantages: Keys to small, no interchangable covers, get very dirty
...The look of this phone is a big pulling point with its smooth stylish lines and cool colour screen.
But you had better get used to the way it looks because you can?t change the cover.
Small is not always beautiful though especially when it comes to writing text messages. The keys on this phone are far to small and close set for them to be of any use in a text war.
On the subject of text messages another down side is a limit of ONE text message notification sound. And I thought they were supposed to be piling more not less multimedia onto phones.
Battery life is excellent with an average of 6 days on standby. However to charge it you are supplied with a very poor plastic charging cable. There are two very fine connectors on the end. Something better from Sony I would have expected for sure.
Can?t really fault the colour...

Ericsson T68 - Nice phone, shame about the speed
Advantages: Stunning looks and brilliant functions
Disadvantages: Sluggish and complete with a terrible battery life
...for ?free Ericsson T68 melodies? then just search through the sites until you find suitable ones. You just need to type the numbers on the screen into your phone composer.
The games for this phone are amazing. The clever little people at Sony Ericsson also hid certain games within the phone, giving the owner something to fiddle about with until they found the hidden games. A good site for the T68 and other Ericsson?s is ?esato? on this site you can get melodies, thousands of backgrounds and helpful advice (such as finding the hidden games). I?ve found that the games are addictive and there are so many to chose from they suit every type of player and mood.
This phone has the ability to use WAP. All you need to do is visit the website of your network provider and follow the online steps to activate WAP on your phone. If you don?t have access...
