sony ericsson W995 Walkman top of the pops

Advantages: WiFi, navigation device, massive storage, top of the range camera at 8.1mp.
Disadvantages: small buttons, drifts in and out of internet and wap, slide up front so gets scratched easy

...I have had this Sony for about 4 weeks and I must say its an improvement on my last model (w850i) the WiFi option allow me to connect at home and watch BBC iplayer which is located as a fuction on the menu. You download from iplayer and store on the phons 8GB memeroy card which is very handy as it will save you money on any internet charges by your network provider. One slight downside is I find the buttons a bit small and do have trouble sending text messages, that aside the fictional side of the phone is good and an improvement on my previous model (w850i). The big features on this phone are the walkman and the 8.1 mega pixel camera. The camera wow!! Has great focus and superb quality but has not change any real features since my w850I. The walkman become a real replacement for any ipod as the 8GB card gives a huge amount of storage...

Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone

Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!
Disadvantages: Average camera, reported technical issues!

I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. Advantages: good for music and entertainment in general. Pedometer feature and shake feature v good

...The Sony Erricson W995 is a widely publicised phone- Yes, but is it really cut out for all this pro-media it has received- Yes. For starters, I received my phone in the unique red colour, which is not only unique to other mobiles out there, but is a classy tone of red, and I don't perceive as tacky, like the convential bright pink phones designed to suit female tastes etc. Turning the phone on, everything was pretty much set up for the user. Advantages: Will handle anything you throw at it brilliantly
Disadvantages: Being picky, it doesn't disconnect a call when you slide the phone down!

...floor! If the phone had a downside, it is that you have to reprogramme your brain if you've had a slider phone before. On this phone, a call does not disconnect if you slide the phone shut - you have to manually press the relevant button. Bit annoying, but you will soon get around it. I'm delighted with this phone, as you can probably tell - I would recommend it to anyone. I\'ve seen it going at time of print for around £90 on pay as you go. That price is an absolute steal. I can assure anyone they won\'t be dissapointed and suffice to say, my next phone will be another W series Sony Ericsson....

...The w995 is the latest and last phone in the 'walkman' Sony Ericsson range, and Sony has shown it will go out in style. As a previous owner of the w810i and the w910i, I recently upgraded to this new phone. Mine was originally obtained from a contract a few years back but it's currently worth around £70 when bought new, but much less on eBay. It's a candy bar phone with a camera and the ability of playing MP3s out loud. NAVIGATION Navigation is very zippy and I've not experienced any crashes. Moving from screen to screen and selecting the desired options is very easy using the directional buttons. Advantages: All the music, connectivity, ease of use you could ever want in one tiny package!
Disadvantages: Cost, but free with contract.

...on contract with O2, have never had any problems with their service and this phone was an upgrade so free. I don't think it's available on PAYG yet. Thoroughly recommend this phone, I switched to Sony Ericsson from Nokia with the K750i and am so glad I have stayed with them for the W810i....
