...The Ericsson T28 is small and very slick... it's a far better design than the other Ericsson phones, even the new one, the Ericsson R320... This phone is not only small but it is very light... weighing in at 83g, a light weight contender!!! But I do find that this phone is rather weak and fragile... if you put it in your hand aand sqeeze, you can feel it breaking... unlike the Sony CMD Z1, which can take a lot of punishment... The T28 comes with 14 ring tones and a composer to compose your own tunes, obviously! The battery stand by time is 50hrs, the bettery talk time is 210mins and it takes 120mins to fully recharge... It has a flip cover... rather sexy... The only phone i'll get instead of the Ericsson T28 is the Sony Z5 and maybe the Nokia 8210...... Read review

...I purchased the T28 after receiving 3 good years service from an older Ericsson (the GH688). My experience of Ericsson mobile phones are that they are easy to use with a well thought out menu system, and that the sound quality and signal strength are top notch. On the downside they are well beaten by others when it comes to styling. With the T28 they seem to have addressed the problem with style. It looks good and is very light. The quality of calls is as good as you'd expect from Ericsson and the disply while small is crisp and clear. Buttons are small so if you are into SMS'ing you'd want to buy the chatboard acessory. The standard battery time is disappointing compared with other phones but then the batteris is so much smaller. All in all, another good phone from Ericsson.... Read review

...The Sony Ericsson P800 was the first Smartphone to be brought out by Sony Ericsson, and at the time about two years ago it was great. The design of the phone at the time was good, and even the weight was good!!! Now Sony Ericsson have had the P900 and the P910i, the two newer versions of this phone, which are superb, but the only down side on all these phones i have mentioned, is the battery life, it's absolutely terrible, lasting a maximum of a day or two if you are lucky!!!! The actual application side of the phone is reasonable, with calender's, notepad's etc. The speed of the phone is quite slow, but what do you expect it's a phone/PDA. The newer versions of the Sony Ericsson P800, are the P900 and the P910i, but even know they have just stopped selling them because they are bringing out an even newer version called the Sony Ericsson... ...This is a little known but extremely useful mobile phone accessory - and one that is available for avout £10. The Ericsson chatboard plugs directly into the base of the mobile and supplies a QWERTY keyboard to enable you to type SMS messages quicker and more accurately than via the traditional multi key press method. There is a fractional time delay between the character being input and appearing on the screen but you soon get used to this. I find the chatboard more user friendly that predictive text input but it is not supplied as standard as does have to be carried seperately though it does come with a neat case. The chatboard works with T10/18/28 and other new Ericsson mobiles.... Read review

Advantages: Inbuilt modem and IR port

...I upgraded to the Ericsson SH888 from a Nokia 5110. Immeadiately the increased call quality was noticeable. With only 1 bar signal strength the SH888 gave a clear and sharp phone call. The reason for my upgrade was to use the infrared port and built in modem with my palm top PC and laptop. The Ericsson website has excellent for using the phone in this way. Modem scripts can be downloaded and installed easily and used straight away. The infrared port can be also be used to edit the phone book on the phone and send text messages with the software supplied in the box. My one gripe is that the RS232 cable included in the package will not work with windows 98, meaning my main unit could not be used with the phone. Another problem is that Ericsson refuse to supple Win CE software to edit the phone book except with their own handhelds.... Read review

Advantages: Excellent Ericcson self-fit car kit
Disadvantages: phone has a habit of turning itself off

...I have been using the T18s for about one year now (on the Cellnet network) and reception is excellent compared to earlier phones (have been with Celnett since 1987). My one complaint is that the phone does have the habit of turning itself off on occasions. Ericsson does an excellent self-fit car kit which consists of a cradle to fix to the facia, and a speaker and microphone which fits to the roof-lining of the car just above the drivers ear. The cable is flat, and can easily be pressed into the area between the rubber door surround and the roof lining so it is invisible. In the shops this costs about £120 but I phoned Ericsson direct and it cost me less that £60. It is reliable and also charges the phone battery. Fitting took me less than 30 minutes. the power comes from the cigarette lighter.... Read review

...The Sony Ericsson K810i CyberShot. A very impressive phone, Amazing camera on it, and very easy to use, yet does not lack features! Looks: Stylish yet subtle, the rounded buttons add to the looks of it Features: Many features ranging from the basic SMS services to it main feature, the 3.2 Megapixel camera that allows the user to capture just about every situation they may encounter, although a little slow in actually capturing the image, the pictures are stunning when it comes to it. Ease Of Use: Very easy to use, although the central joystick needs a little bit of practice, although it only took me about 10 minutes of use. Memory: As far as i am aware Sony Ericsson distribute the phone with a memory card which has held nearly 200 photos at one point for me.... Read review

...The T18 has several advantages: - it's cheap (£50) - vibrating alert - small - much improved interface and screen size over older Ericssons Buts... - the battery life is quite short (claimed to be 100hours but more like 50) - there is no IR connection like on the Nokia - instead you have to spend £100 for a rather poor looking clip on - Ericsson appear to have a tendancy to lose power when the battery is tapped - the reception is not that great Overall Ericsson appear to have got some of the way there but lack the vision of Nokia when it comes to leading the market. It is a good phone and for the price it is good value, but if Ericsson just pushed their R&D a little further they would leading the market in the same way that Nokia does.... Read review

...This phone is not made any more. The phone has a standby of 22 hours and talk time of just over 2 hours. This is very poor from Ericsson. The phone is GSM and they come in different styles. The flip is unattractive and so is the large aerial. The display could be bigger but it is fairly reasonable considering it was made about five years ago. The phone was continuously made for three years until Ericsson stopped making it. The phone is not worth buying. There are better Ericssons around.... Read review
