Sophisticated bluetooth headset -Sony Ericsson Bluetooth HBH-PV70

Advantages: Good sound quality, stylish design, easy to use, great price.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any.

...I purchased this bluetooth headset a few months ago and it has been really useful. I'm on my phone quite a lot, and it was a nightmare whilst I was driving and my phone went off. I decided I had to invest in a headset. There was so much choice in the internet so it was difficult to know what one to go after, and after reading a few good reviews for the HBH-PV700 I brought it. I own a Sony Ericsson phone and I've heard if you connect the two you get better results, although it works perfectly fine on any other phone. It was really simple to use. You only really had to turn it on, connect it to the phone with a simple bluetooth passcode (generally I think its always 0000) and then it was set up. It's easy to turn on and off, and if you turn it on with the phone in distance, then it automatically sets it up, so that if you get a phone...

Advantages: free 515mb memory card, extra options, "Shuffle" control and music & picture quality very good
Disadvantages: buttons crack and stop working for no reason at all!

...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. On the Sony Ericsson W580i you can listen to the local radio station, Play the Games (My phone came with two games), TrackID (This you put your phone next to a speaker and the song is ID'd but comes with a price), Video Player. Sony Ericsson Story...

Advantages: Good value for money, excellent sound, good quality camera

...I have always had a Sony Ericsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with Sony Ericsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily...

My Sony Ericsson W580i

Advantages: Thin, Good Memory, Aesthetically pleasing, good value for money.
Disadvantages: Cover is worn quite easily, buttons crack quickly.

...I have had Sony Ericsson phone for the last 3 or 4 years now and am very happy with them. I find they are the easiest to use (nokia come very close) and they are good quality feature packed phones. This phone is not an exception. If you have used Sony Ericsson before you will be familiar with most of the features on this phone - the only difference really is the appearance and one or two features have been added or upgraded. If you are considering getting this phone, I would imagine you won't have to pay for it, it will be free on most contracts or around £200 sim-free! Shop around for the best deals? As this is a slide phone, you can answer a call by simply opening the phone up and end the call by closing it?it also locks automatically when it is closed which is good. ...I have owned this phone for about a month now, on a pay monthly orange contract. I have had sony ericsson phones since 2005, and will probably never go back to another brand. Sony Ericsson W580i in Pink!

Advantages: Nice little compact phone with plenty of features.
Disadvantages: Needed external memory stick in order to make full use of Walkman feature.

It cost me just £60 for the pink version as it was a customer return, not used but the seal on the box had been broken. Anyway back to the phone; was pleasantly surprised by how powerful the phone was considering how small and lightweight it was compared to my previous one, it weighs around 94grams. The menu function was clear and concise and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I found it quick and easy to enter additional contact infomation that wasn't stored on my Sim Card, and the whole phone was simple to navigate. The sound clarity when using the Walkman function was very clear and a novel way of shaking the phone to get to the next track was a lot less fiddly than having to keep going into the menu function. ...you can input your personal details and use the pedometer which counts your steps everyday and measures who many calories you're burning.. My phone also includes many other great applications including Photo DJ, Video DJ & Music DJ and my favourite.. Track ID, which enables you to record a short clip of music from the radio, TV or another external music source and it'll send it over the internet and find the song title, artist and album name it is from [if available] Genius! :) The phone includes some fantastic, modern themes, I especially love the 'Splat' theme :) Camera isnt as great as it could be, but its a Walkman phone.. if you're after a Sony Ericsson with a fantastic camera, go for 'K' range. But for a great looking, easy to use music player phone.. this is definately worth looking at!!...

Being strictly a nokia buyer in the past i had felt a little aprehensive about this purchase. I got the phone for around 150 pounds in Argos which was a special deal on pay as you talk vodafone. I was surprised at the slim body of the phone as sony ericssons in the past have been chunky. It fits very nice in the hand and looks very smart . The phone came in a really smart little red box like a cube with software for the computer,a cable,instructions, headphones and charger. ...with some improvement. From the screen we get to the built in functions. This phone comes with a rather unique function to me, a pedometer. I found this a weird function and feel that Sony are just putting silly functions into their phones. A function that every phone now-a-days has built in is of course bluetooth. The bluetooth is simple to use and is very fast at transferring files. However, after a few months, faults with the functions tend to appear. For example, the keys stop working. This is probably because of the sliding of the screen and causes the wires to break, similar to the continuous bending and twisting of headphones. Overall this phone is only good for the fist couple of months before it starts to play up....
