Sony 32" LCD WEGA Flat Panel HDTV
Advantages: great picture quality
Disadvantages: the TV may not be good for interior designing.
...Sony has a wide variety of Television to choose from. Flat TV is the most popular choice for buying a TV but have you consider buying a flat tv with HDTV?
Well, if you are planing Sony 32" LCD WEGA Flat Panel HDTV is the best product to buy. Wtih many features in this product, you cannot ask for more.
Actually, I always bought Sony products because they are always trusted when it comes to quality. My fist TV experience in this product is really awesome. This has a great picture quality that you always look in TV. And also, it is like you were on a cinema when you are watching because of it's amazing sound quality. You'll never ask for more.
Lastly, this TV comes with a great low prices. Buy 32" because TV that are 40" to 50" wide have a poor picture quality....

SONY IS NUMBER ONE!! AWESOME LCD WEGA TV!!
Advantages: Excellent Picture Quality
Disadvantages: None
...This SONY 26' LCD WEGA HDTV is the wave of the future. It has everything that you need in an LCD TV. Sony does in fact make the very best looking products and QUALITY to. I have over 35 different types of Sony products and they keep working no matter if you drop them or how hard you use them.
Well this TV takes the cake. I just bought it yesterday and it is well worth the high price tag. I also bought the 23 inch that Sony makes and that is also very good. This 26 inch LCD TV sounds great with the WOW effect. It is so easy to use and hook up. The wire management system is the very best. Here are the PROS about this TV.
PROS:
Great quality and design.
Bright, Clean, Clear and Sharp picture.
There is no picture drag/trail with fast moving objects.
Viewing angle is a 170 degrees, you cant ask for anything more than that...

Sony KDL-46W5500 - awesome LCD TV with stunning pictures
Advantages: Stunning pictures, loaded with features, useful extra connection options
Disadvantages: Expensive - but it is a Sony
...excellent. I'm using it with a Sony blu ray player and although I haven't watched any blu rays yet, the DVD upscaling is jawdroppingly good - the sports mode makes the pictures scarily real. I've been going through my entire DVD collection just trying out the pictures and it's totally different to watching them on my old CRT screen. Can't wait to see blu ray, although it's difficult to imagine how much better the pictures can get.
Of course I was a bit worried about this backlight bleed issue, and I've sat there in a pitch black room, watching dark DVDs, and all sorts of different pictures and programmes. The blacks on the TV are the blackest I've ever seen on a screen and I simply cannot find any evidence of backlight bleed. I think that 99.9% of people will be delighted with the picture.
The TV is packed with features, the menus are quite...

BUSH 27" WIDESCREEN LCD TV
Advantages: nice flat screen, sharp clear picture
Disadvantages: can the cat knock it over? not hd ready?
...end of line 27" widescreen lcd flat television and just had to buy it. The only trouble was, that being end of line meant that you could not order it for delivery, so I did a search of all my local stores until I found one and we reserved it for collection the next day.
My husband came home with the tv, we unpacked it and installed it so easily, it was a dream.
The Techinical description of this television in the Argos catalogue is Bush LCD27TV005 27in Widescreen LCD TV.
The Argos order number is: 529/2150 and we paid £399.99. From what I have read online, this television was retailing at around £600 originially, but at the moment, all of the LCD televisions seem to be 26 or 30/32 inches, so it looks like they are phasing out the 27" ones.
The television is silver in colour and the speakers are each end of the television...

Bush LCD 32TV016
Advantages: Good picture quality
Disadvantages: None
...I'm not overly fussed with some of the technical aspects of televisions, I don't even understand most of it so I'll do my best not to bore anyone with these during my review. As long as I can plug in my dvd player, my sky box and my nintendo wii with no problems I'm a happy bunny.
I agree, Bush might not be a market leader when it comes to televisions (or anything for that matter) but this one looked nice. I bought this television almost two years ago to use as the main house tv. It sits proudly in the corner of my living room with the matching glass tv stand. Both were bought from Sainsburys. The TV itself was on sale and I managed to get it for under two-hundred pounds. Which is an absolute steal. The cheapest I can find it for at the moment is around the £300 mark.
The 32" inch screen gives a clear picture and considering, although...

Sony WEGA TV with OnDigital and surround sound
Advantages: Built in OnDigital and 5.1 surround sound for that cinema experience
Disadvantages: Expensive. Need to check on availability of signal.
...The Sony KV-32DS60U is a 32" widescreen TV with digital circuitry built in so you do not need a Digibox to receive the new digital broadcasts. The set is easy to setup as it can detect and program itself automatically. The standard analogue channels (BBC throught to Channel 5) are available as well as SHOP!, BBC NEWS 24, ITV2 and some others. Premium rate channels aren't included but OnDigital have told me that this TV, an IDTV, can receive premium channels after a subscription is set up.
Trying to contact Sony's digital helpline is a nightmare. After numerous attempts I still haven't been able to talk to anyone. This is an area where they need to definitely improve their service.
Connecting a VCR and DVD to the TV is easy. If the VCR has smartlink the TV can deliver the program presets direct to the VCR for analogue recording. If...

Excellent Sony LCD TV
Advantages: Great picture/sound, reliable make (Sony), great size.
Disadvantages: Can be a bit pricey, don't overpay.
...This is the TV that my family bought around 4 months ago and we have not been disappointed.
It cost £1,500.00 and has everything you want. Of course because it is Sony you are getting excellent technology and a name you can trust with reliability. The 40' screen has excellent sharp colour, which is what you expect from a HD TV. The loudspeakers fill the room with sounds creating superb atmosphere along with the excellent picture. It also can be used to play games consoles on and with the superb loudspeakers it creates great gameplay action.
It is very easy to install and get going, just a few buttons and you are away. The remote aswell, very easy to understand and never had a problem with it. Of course if you had any problems the instruction manuel is very easy to understand and should be able to sort out your problem, but as...

Let's sing the praises of Samsung LCD TV
Advantages: Saves space, good picture, built in freeview
Disadvantages: HD broadcasts not out yet, need a HD ready DVD player too
...apparent thiness. I particularly like the Samsung as it is framed in black ( see picture above ) and I think this gives it a sleek, stylish look.
My boss informed me once ( he is full of pearls of wisdom) that a LCD tv is equally popular with husbands and wives. His reasoning is that men like all the gadgets that come with it ( and there are many like picture in picture, different screen sizes etc) while women like the extra space it affords the sitting room. To be honest I like the extra space it affords our room. Furthermore as a parent I'm glad that neither of my sons can lick the television screens any more when their favourite characters come on ( the things they learn from their mother!). It also means they have to watch the television from a certain distance which is obvouisly benefical to their mince pies!

Sony - The Best Flat Screen
Advantages: Free to air Digital programmes. Excellent picture
Disadvantages: B*****y heavy!! (62kg) Be careful what you sit it on.
...A testimony to the power of CIAO!. Having read "DaveD"'s opinion, and already having my own pet theories on Sony, I also purchased the integrated digital version of Sony's excellent 32" widescreen set, after hours spent annoying John Lewis's comparing with Panasonic and the like.
I got mine through a Freeserve Auction for a price that would make Dave weep.
The picture is excellent, especially on digital TV, which is now a huge source of real 16 by 9 widescreen programmes - e.g. BBC News 24 is permanently 16:9, and newer programmes on BBC1 are going that way too.
The Sony has several picture formats that you can "scroll" through, from normal 4:3 to the interim 14:9 (useful for all those programmes with a thin stripe top and bottom, 16:9, "Smart", which almost lives up to its name, although it doesn't always get it right, and zoom...

Sony's WEGA
Advantages: Amazing contrast and colour
Disadvantages: Price
...I bought this TV after looking at many TVs,. I would recommend this TV for anyone who wants to get the best out of DVD's. The most shocking feature of this TV is that the screen is perfectly flat and has an amazingly vivid and colourful picture. The 100Hz processing dose not cause any artifacts or motion blur. It also has excellent sound but I would still recommend running it through a Hifi. A usfull feature of this TV is that it caches the pages on teletext so you can step through them.
The TV comes with a stand with tinted glass windows that intergrates with the TV seamlessly. Panasonic?s Tau TV' are similar but I prefer the Sony....
