Thumbs up for the Sony M2 memory card

Advantages: Good value for money (cheaper than most 2GB USB flash drives), and highly compact and portable
Disadvantages: Very small you so have to handle it really carefully

...I bought this memory stick for my Sony Ericsson Mobile phone back in December and it's still serving me well 6 months on, at the time I am writing this review. One of the desirable features of this product is its size. It's small compact nature means it can be easily popped in and out of your Sony Ericsson mobile phone at any time. At 2GB it can store about 500 MP3 files and about the same number of photos. It's also useful for storing PDF and word files if ever you don't a have a flash drive to hand You can also buy this memory card along with a USB card reader, which you just pop into your computer's USB port, and you're set to go. However, the fact that it's so small means you have to be really careful when handling it, becuse if you drop it, it can be realy hard to find again.This is the only reason why I didn't give this product...

...M2 memory cards can be used in alot of phones, some cameras and some other devices. There is a range of five hundred and twelve mb and four thousand Mb ( 4Gb ). Depending on the device the memory card is in there is a difference in how files are added to it through a computer. The phones that use it are connected to the USB and a file is opened showing what is on the memory card. If you want to add something to the memory card / phone you just copy and paste the file into the memory card. The M2 memory cards are small and easy to lose and hard to put in. Lasting Memory

Advantages: Small, thin, very light, solid and durable
Disadvantages: expensive, colour, packaging, works only with sony products

...Well, i got mine 5 years back. It true, you didn't read it wrongly, is was 5 years back in time. During 1999, Sony came out with it's range of cameras, and so does it's memory sticks. It was a success for them to manage to create a storage device smaller sized than a diskette, and which also has a larger capacity than a 1.44MB diskette. So at that time, 4MB was like "WHOA!!". When i bought my 1999 Sony Cybershot, a 4MB memory stick came along with it. After some time using it, i realized something went wrong. Well, what could 4MB keep? 1 song, or 25 individual 640 x 480 size pictures. It just wasn't enough. I had to get the 16MB card. Why didn't i get more capacity? Well, during 1999, memory stick were still very , very expensive, so i only managed to get the smallest size possible besides the 4MB. The 16MB...

A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online

Another great console from Sony

Advantages: Really good graphics, Blue Ray player built in, wireless internet for free
Disadvantages: High price, loud fan when playing games

...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out. However there have been many reported problems with the Xbox 360, such as the console freezing, so I thought I best play it safe and instead get the PS3 when I had some money. The PS3 also offers more benefits over the Xbox 360, like free online play and less reported faults with the console in general...

For Some Sony Mobiles

Advantages: Very fast in transferring files, rather cheap, keeps thousands of pictures and video clips
Disadvantages: 1GB not enough for some, very small making it hard to find if lost

...I bought a Sony 1GB M2 memory card because my Sony ericcsson K770i internal memory was just not enough. The sony M2 card is very small and comes in black only I bought mine for £10 in one of those street mobile shops that unlock mobiles. I actually thought this was cheap for a Sony M2 card as you would normally find them at £15 or maybe more in electronic shops such as Comet, Pc World, Jessop's, Currys etc. The Sony M2 card comes in a thick plastic package, which has to be opened by a scissors or knife as it's hard to open by bare hands. Inside the package there are instruction on how to use the M2 card and there are some warnings on how to avoid the M2 card from being damaged. Advantages: slick piece of hardware, great games, so much to do!
