...I have used this Sony Projector for over 3 years. It is very light, compact and easy to use. It comes in a canvas carry case with shoulder strap. The projector itself folds up in to a compact carry case. The front cover folds over with a handle and locks so it can be carried like a mini briefcase. The control functions are on top of the projector. There is a row of buttons on the front, Power,Input,APA, and volume control. On the right are buttons for reset,menu,arrow keys and enter. There are 4 light signals,lamp,fan,power saving,standby. The port at the back has audio,mouse,video,svideo and scart to laptop connection. THe SONY LCD Projector made in Japan is very reliable. THis one is probably 5 years old. Replacement lamps for it are now very expensive. When you switch it on it is ready to use in about 3 minutes. The picture...

Sony VPL-CS1 A Projector Well Ahead Of It's Time

Advantages: 1280 x 1024 Maximum Resolution
Disadvantages: Not designed for ceiling mounting.

The picture quality is excellent with this projector, owing mainly to its 1280 x 1024 resolution. There is a good range of inputs on this projector allowing you to connect anything from a PC to a dvd player to it. The only downside to the inputs is that it has only got a single RCA for video input and relies upon a 3.5mm (headphone type) audio jack. Which can be a pain at times as you cant just use a triple RCA lead. This projector is not designed to be ceiling mounted. It can only be desk mounted which makes setup time much quicker but if your looking for a permanent installation that's out of the way, this isn't for you. Another great console from Sony

Advantages: Really good graphics, Blue Ray player built in, wireless internet for free
Disadvantages: High price, loud fan when playing games

...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out. However there have been many reported problems with the Xbox 360, such as the console freezing, so I thought I best play it safe and instead get the PS3 when I had some money. The PS3 also offers more benefits over the Xbox 360, like free online play and less reported faults with the console in general...
