PS2 is still one of the greatest consoles!

...fine, nothing wrong with it as far as i can hear. Controller - Comfortable, not as good as an XBOX360 controller but then, what is? Games - Just about every genre of game is on the PS2, there are masses of games to be played and they are all fairly cheap nowadays. Also plays some of the greatest games of all time like Final Fantasy, Grand theft auto and Need for Speed. Extras - It uses memory cards so you can use your save game on other people playstation - Until recently I found out that the removable plastic section at the back is for a harddrive (this is not in the slimline version) - It can be connected to the internet (for multiplater etc) - It can use a range of accesories, eyetoy (camera), steering wheels, guns, microphones, skateboards and even chainsaws. Even though it is 'out of date' it still have hours of play value....

Slim PS2 The Best Things Come In Small Packages

Advantages: Very Slim, Very Nice, Large Game Library
Disadvantages: Least Powerful console

...graphics performance especially in first party titles like WRC4 the graphics are mind-blowing as good as any Xbox game. The PlayStation two ( or PStwo )as it is now called is even easier to use than its bigger brother it features a built in I/R receiver for the DVD remote but they have done away with the ilink (firewire) port which had no function on the old console. You can connect to the Internet with your new slim PS2 and enjoy the online features (if you have broadband) because your new machine has a built in network adaptor. Personally I recommend you purchase a USB headset for online gaming as well or communicating with others is impossible. The best thing about the online service is unlike Xbox Live, for using the Xbox online, the PS2 online service is totally free. However to use the online service you need a Network access disk...

Advantages: Sleek; lots of good games; DVD movie playable - good value for money :-)

Many people tend to dissagree, but I think that the Sony Playstation 2 is the best games console going and other consoles such as the XBOX and Gamecube don't even compare to the quality of this tiny black/silver box of fun! hehe!
