A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online
Disadvantages: Small Gamelist Thus Far and Some Games Suffer From Framerate and Graphical Pop-Up Issues

...Sony's Playstation 3 is thier third go around in the Video Game business. My console reviews usually consist of reviews in the following categories Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. Much like the Xbox 360, i'll also be reviewing the Design of the PS3. The design of the PS3 is the more classy of the three new consoles. The PS3 is a black square system with a curved top. While the design is beautiful, this system is very big, matching the 360 in terms of size. The system also offers Blu-ray but, in my opinion, that should not be the only reason you should be spending $400-500 on this system. Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. ...This marks Sony's second effort in the Video Game business. In my console reviews, i review 5 categories, Design, Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. The PS2's original design is rather bulky. It is a black rectangle box with two controller slots and two memory card slots. Like the original Playstation, Sony eventually came out with a slimmer and smaller version of this system, which came with all of the features of the original. I took it out of the box and plugged it in to my 40 inch Sony Bravia HD tv and started the set up. Sony have made the set up very easy and it is much like the set up process on a PSP. As soon as I knew it I was all set up and ready and I loved that they used the same layout on the Playstation 3 as they have on the PSP becuse it is just so easy to navigate through settings, pictures, music, internet and other features. ...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out. However there have been many reported problems with the Xbox 360, such as the console freezing, so I thought I best play it safe and instead get the PS3 when I had some money. Sony release a firmware every month that fixes bugs and enables new features and these can be acquired through system update. Now there have been some cool development by Sony as they have increased functionality by releasing firmware's that have added DVD/PS1/PS2 upscale. The upscale have been great as the DVDs look much sharper and the games too. Sony has also released a firmware that added themes which is great as you can make it look different to what you like. To get the themes you can either download them from the internet or PS3 store. Future Firmware includes listening to music while playing a game which is currently not possible but due to release hopefully soon. The updates are about 100mb takes me less than 1 minute to download as I have 16mb broadband. But it...
