It is accurate, generally easy to control and the screen doesn't scratch permanently (you do get temporary scratches, but these rub off easily). There is a handy holder for the stylus on the side so it'll be quite difficult to lose it. There is also a D-Pad and four buttons for non-touch screen games, which are clear and easy to use. Another control is the microphone - I have only used this for 'blowing' games, not 'talking' games, however my experience of it is negative. It doesn't work, and you'll give yourself a nasty headache trying to blow into it anyway. -Extras- The range of extras are things like an alarm, a Wi-Fi chatroom and a customisable profile. Touch Magic

Advantages: Great sound quality, great applications
Disadvantages: Battery Life, Fingerprints, could be better

...at the bottom, these allows you to look through your playlists, artists, songs, albums or more. Just like you usually would get. The touch technology is brilliant when you play music, the pause, play, back, forward buttons are all accessible just by one touch of the finger. You control the volume not only at the side of the IPod but also on the screen by scrolling it across. The great addition that the second generation provides is the speakers installed within the IPod, they are not fantastic, but they do allow you to play your music out loud without using an IPod dock or anything like that. Videos I gave blood again today, and usually I have quite a hard time. Instead of 10 minutes it takes about 30-45 minutes to get blood out of me, so I took my IPod and lay down and turned on an episode of Bones. I so far only have 2 videos...

A "Touch" of Class

Advantages: Widescreen, Wi-Fi, Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Outer Shell Shows Dirt, Slightly Pricey, Speaker Volume Is Low

...When purchasing my iPod Touch 32Gb, I must admit that I did have my doubts over the hefty price tag. But nearly a year later it's nice to know that my money has been well spent! Design: The most striking and obvious feature of this iPod is it's beautiful design. Very appealing to the eye, and with a slick chrome finish, the Touch is a very classy product indeed. However, in my own opinion, the chrome finish can easily get smudged which can become irritating for people (like myself) who like to keep their iPod in pristine condition. But there are solutions to this, such as protective cases, which can be purchased for a relatively decent price. The screen is generously large and with a very crisp finish it makes navigation and video playback a real pleasure. Also, a really nice feature which wasn't present on the previous model...

iTouch!

Advantages: Packed with applications, very handy and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Keyboard is hard to use, no flash player and not very durable without a case.

...such as Dailymotion. This, obviously, is a drawback. Hopefully, Apple will look into sorting this out for future versions. Other than that, the Safari browser is very good. It's fairly quick, like other browsers, it depends on your connection speed as to how fast your pages load. The iTunes store is a great inclusion on the device. I like the idea that you can be sitting out with your friends and if someone mentions a good song or you hear a good song then you can just access your iTunes and purchase the song (provided your in a wi-fi hotspot). It's really good. You can then listen to it using the iPod feature, which is what the device is built around. But the other functions kind of put the iPod section into the shadows. The touch screen is very responsive and so far, using my brothers 8GB version, I haven't encountered any problems...

iTouch

Advantages: Brilliant
Disadvantages: Nono

...sleek bit of equipment, the iPod is really beautiful looking and the screen is just big enough So I bought them, what I didn't know is that by doing so I am now the coolest sister ever apparently. I have never seen two teenagers smile so much and say thank you so much. Now the first stage was obviously setting them up. There are many different things that you need to set up, the first thing we did was make sure that the iTouch was connected, I didn't realise that when you have one of these, you can connect anyway where there is WiFi, we have also learnt that if we would like to pay £5 a month, we can be connected anywhere, which i think is bloody excellant. There's no point being connected and yo don't know what for, the iTouch comes with a small selection of standard fuctions, one is youtube, one is google and there is another one...

Touche Eclat? Touche Eme!

Advantages: Excellent coverage, Easy to apply

...I have never bought any Yves Saint Laurent products in the past, I've always been tempted by the shiny displays in my local Boots and Debenhams but the price has always put me off. Why pay £20ish for something you buy for £4 in a cheaper brand?! After actually trying this product I am converted and will definately be purchasing this in the future! I was recently lucky enough to be sent not 1 but 2 Touche Eclats for free to trial and give my opinion on. I did a quick google search and the cheapest I could have purchased these for was £16.50 excluding delivery so I was over the moon that I was finally going to be getting to try this expensive brand for free! A Touch Too Much?

As the 2nd generation Touch has a speaker built in internally, it let out a small 'ping' which was a little unexpected as I had forgotten most of what I had read about the new models. I also noticed the additional external volume control buttons on the side. These, I believe, are straight from the iPhone, and has already proved to be an excellent feature for me. All the icons appeared instantly on the screen and I started checking them out. I also found that the touchscreen is very responsive and does not need hardly any pressure to select an icon. ipod touch review

Advantages: Attractive, easy to use touch screen and applications
Disadvantages: Expensive and the headphones are not very durable

...In my opinion the iPod touch is the best in the MP3 player category. With features such as the applications and album artwork it is much more than just a music playing device. However, I would recommend most music listeners to go for a higher memory option. The headphones are not very durable however, and are expensive to replace. That s one drawback of the iPod, all the accessories and software updates tend to be expensive. With the accessories it may be best to look elsewhere than the official Apple products as there are good alternatives. Unless you want a simple music player, in which case I would recommend the iPod shuffle, I think this easily beats the competition in attractiveness and, like most Apple products, just being cool! Its is not the cheapest in its category, but I think it is without a doubt the best....

Touch is definitely the future!

Advantages: Everything!
Disadvantages: It's not an iPhone, so no Internet everywhere, phoning or SMS!

...As an Apple fan-boy, I must say I love the iPod. I believe it to be the revolutionary thing for any consumer, and I think that everyone should have one. I previously owned a 30GB iPod Video, and after 3 years of daily use, it finally started to die. This was when I decided to treat myself to the iPod Touch. Not just any iPod Touch, though - the 32GB one! There's not much to say that can't be seen from images - this device looks and feels fantastic! The touch screen is impeccable - a formidable force to be reckoned with, and one that i haven't seen replicated anywhere near to this quality on mobile phones and devices. It's an iPod - you know you're getting what you paid for, and much more!
