My sony vaio
Review of Sony VAIO K315S - Mobile Pentium 4 532 3.06 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
cj101uk
Advantages: Great range of software, Excellent for media
Disadvantages: Heavy
...When i was looking for a laptop I wanted something that would last, something that was affordable, and something that offered all my needs. I searched for a long time, never finding anything with the specifications I needed, all offered what seemed to be uncompatible features. Then I came across the Sony Vaio range, the K315S, and immediately I was drawn to it. The quality of the on board speakers, the crispness of the 'X-black LCD' and the power of it, supporting a 3.06Ghz processor and a 'Mobility Radeon 9200 64mb'. This allows me to play some of todays demanding games such as 'Doom3', and has now become my favoured choice for watching Dvds. I found my Sony vaio to be excellent for my work, allowing me to connect my sony memory stick directly into the unit itself allows easy access to my photos and movies, with the adobe software...

Sony VAIO AR51E Review
Review of Sony VAIO AR51E - Core 2 Duo T7250 2 GHz - 17" TFT by
ElistheG
Advantages: 17" Screen, Awesome Specs and a built in webcam
Disadvantages: Too much bundled software and it's also quite heavy.
...In this review I'm going to be covering Sony's great VAIO AR51E laptop computer.
Specifications- 9.5/10
The AR51E is a high spec laptop suitable for gaming, business, graphics, and just about anything, it has a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, 2GB Random Access Memory, a massive 200GB Internal Harddrive, and a NVIDEA GeForce 8400M GT, and just to top it all off, a huge 17" TFT X-Black LCD Screen, with full HD and a 1440x900 Resolution, which makes for awesome viewing if you play games or watch movies. It also has 2 USB Ports, and a DVD+RW Double Layer Reader.
Design- 9/10
This laptop has a sleak slimline design, with a black matte finish, and the silver VAIO sign on the back, the screen is very reflective, which looks great, and thankfully in this case doesn't affect the screen when its on.
Software- 9/10
As usual Sony...

Review of Sony VAIO F190 - PII 366 MHz - 14.1" TFT by
boilot
Advantages: Great for business and personal use
Disadvantages: Battery life
...Myself and a colleague recently bought two Sony Vaios and we are both very satisfied with them. There were no problems running the computer out of the box, no problems installing any of the software we wanted; we even made a new partition and got Redhat running smoothly out-of-the box also.
The physical computer is solid, as i've dropped mine a few times, bent some sockets but everything still works fine. I had a problem with the battery - i happen not to use the battery very much, though left it inside the computer, hence it was always being topped up. Eventually the battery died completely, though i'm not sure if it was a one off or something to be wary of. My colleague didn't have the same problem.
Since buying the Vaio i've developed a liking for my particular laptop and would reccommend those investigating Sony's for purchase...

SUPER SONIC SONY VAIO NR10 LAPTOP
Review of Sony VAIO NR10E/S - Pentium Dual Core T2310 1.46 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
donovan74
Advantages: DVD R/W, HIGH QUALITY, BEAUTY, GREAT VALUE
Disadvantages: DOES NOT MAKE COFFEE
...INTRO
I've been using Laptops now for around ten years and must say they are improving beyond belief in every way. I've owned many brands of Laptops that include Dell, Compact, IBM, HP and a Toshiba (most recent), I have always loved the Laptop concept and will now review my new beloved Sony Vaio NR10 Laptop.
LOOKING FOR A NEW LAPTOP
As with any other products on today's markets there is usually stiff competition and as far as Computers go it's more competitive now than ever. I began to look for a new Laptop last month in the January sales, which is the best time in my opinion as there's often big mark downs on prices and bargains to be had. Now the funny thing is I've always been a big Sony fan in every way (especially Sony Trintron TV''s) but never owned a Sony Computer or Laptop, so Sony was at the top of my list to look...

I never buy anything else
Review of Sony VAIO F807 - PIII 650 MHz - 14.1" TFT by
Vaio
Advantages: It's a Sony !!!
Disadvantages: It's a little bit old.
...with SONY on the side when I got mine as that would have made it perfect (yes Mr Sony, that is a hint)
If you can get an F807 in good condition at a reasonable price sell a kidney (or someone elses) and get it.
Oh, this is my 2nd Vaio, I am currently saving for my 3rd. I was given a 2.4 ghz Compaq Armada as a replacement for my Vaio last year. It was quietly dumped after a week and I went back to the Vaio....

kaisa_paisa
Advantages: ultramodern,stylish,sleek,value for money
Disadvantages: none as of today
...Its a sony!! This smart sleek and trendy laptop introduces you to "the style gang". Powerful battery, stylish design, vibrant colors and topped with the brand sony!! This laptop is ultrastylish and belongs to the category of ultraportable as well.
Few personal reasons for buying this laptop
1) Brand loyalty and belief
2) Style - the look and feel gives you an essence of being the in thing!
3) Performance promise which it does deliver
4) Value for money - well I bought it from a retailer and not main sony shop hence it was 100 pounds cheap!

SONY VAIO NR21J/S - Budget Laptop from Sony
Review of Sony VAIO NR21J/S - Pentium Dual Core T2330 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
mascall84
Advantages: Price, Features, Battery Life.
Disadvantages: No standalone Graphics card .
...A fully featured VAIO notebook for under £500. This has to be worth looking into. Sony VAIO Notebooks are famous for being industry leaders but also for being overpriced. Now this Laptop has the quality and stylish look as do all VAIO's but not the price tag. With a 15.4" X-Black LCD you are garunteed to have a great picture whatever applications you may be using. However it only has on-board graphics and not a standalone card like most other VAIO's this obviously helps bring down the price but does affect the overall functionality of the product. But it is nice to see Sony bring out a notebook at an affordable price that does everything the majority of laptop users require. With a standard 2 GB RAM and a Dual Core T2330 1.6Ghz Processor This is definitely not a low end machine.
Capable of running the most intensive programs available...

Sleek and powerful
Review of Sony - Music Clip by
martinibianco
Advantages: Small, excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: Only 5 hours battery life, restrictive music management software
...Sony's Music Clip is a masterpiece of design, as one would expect from their Vaio range of multimedia technology. A friend got me one from New York (they're currently unavailable in the UK) and it was worth the wait. You record your CDs onto your harddrive in Sony's proprietary sound format and then transfer them via an ultra-fast USB connection to the unit itself, which is around the size and shape of a fountain pen. And the sound quality is fantastic and LOUD! They're quite expensive but better than the Memory Stick Walkman....

Good product
Review of Sony VAIO FE41E - Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
skinney05
Advantages: good and fast
Disadvantages: cost
...very fast and up to date bit of kit. This gives everything that you expect from a sony, unfortunetley this includes the price as with most of there other products, sony expects you to not only to pay for the product but also for the brand name. whereas other alternatives of the exact same spec tend to be less in price. having said that it is a very good laptop that if you do like myself trust the sony brand you mind paying a little extra for your peace of mind. If however you prefer value for money or do not have a budget to get you a sony then other more affordable examples exist.
Every aspect is either good or excellent on this product another good example of sony equipment....

amazing laptop
Review of Sony VAIO NR11M/S - Pentium Dual Core T2310 1.46 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
punker123
Advantages: super fast speeds
Disadvantages: nothing,,,,, really
...this is a great new laptop from the sony vaio range.
if your looking for somthing small, sleek, portalble and with fast speeds, then this is the one for you.
one great thing about sony over other laptop brands, is that you always know your sony laptop wil look cool. this vaio is no ecception, and i certainly wouldnt be embarresed to get this out in the street and play around with it.
its compact 15.4 inch screen also features active matrix technology which is just taking imadge quality to a new level these days.
one of the best things about this laptop is how cheap it is, you can easily pick one up for about £500 and they will no doubt get cheaper. another great thing about this is its fantastic specification.
it has Intel Pentium Dual Core processor with 1gb of ram which can even be upgraded to 2gb if need be.
these are both...
