Another Sony marvel, this time with Blu-Ray built in!

Advantages: HUGE harddrive, lots of memory, stylish and fast. Easy to use and robust.
Disadvantages: Battery life could be better, and I'd have preferred it to be a little lighter.

The laptop is made mainly for gaming, watching movies on and various other entertainment needs whilst not compromising the ability to do serious work on these as well. Advantages: Great price for a Sony, Highly aesthetically pleasing

In white, the Sony Vaio is by far the most attractive laptop on the market, and when I saw this moderately priced white Sony Vaio sitting there for the taking, I knew that it was something that I just had to own. Macbook?s are similarly styled, however I have always preferred the Windows operating system so for me, a Macbook was not a viable option. ...I am also a big Sony fan and i have always liked Sony Vaio laptops ever since i was little due to their design and their build quality. I bought this particular Sony Vaio laptop because i liked the size and portability of it as it only weighs 1.4kg which is a lot lighter than almost everything on the market. I mean the whole point of having a laptop is to be able to take it around with you and by having a laptop that weighs 3kg or 4kg defeats the purpose of having one in the first place. You also need to consider that you'd also most probably take the charger and battery with you too which weighs an extra 500 grams so it all adds up!. However it only has on-board graphics and not a standalone card like most other VAIO's this obviously helps bring down the price but does affect the overall functionality of the product.
