Sony Vaio T1XP/L 1.4KG laptop

Advantages: Small, Portable, Nicely Designed
Disadvantages: Charging time,Build Quality and Overheating

...I am also a big Sony fan and i have always liked Sony Vaio laptops ever since i was little due to their design and their build quality. I bought this particular Sony Vaio laptop because i liked the size and portability of it as it only weighs 1.4kg which is a lot lighter than almost everything on the market. I mean the whole point of having a laptop is to be able to take it around with you and by having a laptop that weighs 3kg or 4kg defeats the purpose of having one in the first place. You also need to consider that you'd also most probably take the charger and battery with you too which weighs an extra 500 grams so it all adds up!. In the box you get the charger, battery, manuals, warranty card and of course the well packaged laptop itself. The box itself has a handle so that it is very easy for transportation. Anyway onto...

My Sony VAIO

Advantages: Quality Looking, Very Stylish, Great Speed!
Disadvantages: -

...Product: 15.4" screen Laptop Make: Sony, VAIO Features: XP, Service pack 2 Price: Varied This Sony VAIO Laptop is stylish, powerful, fast active, and easy to use, this laptop is exactly like the one I own. Mine is Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with service packed 2, it has a 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) X-black LCD flat screen, and runs on 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (533 MHz). Even though, it's Windows XP, Its Vista capable as well; some of them I've seen are though. I can always rely on the Sony make; to me it has always been a top brand. I love the Intel Celeron M Processor 390; the processing speed is 1.70 GHz, which is the ideal speed for me. The hard disk drive is 80GB, which is quite suitable for the size. The Intel Graphics feature Media Accelerator 900 and comes with 128MB max, the graphics are outstandingly great, this is...

sony vaio AR88E

Advantages: massive screen
Disadvantages: large.

...This laptop is the Sony VAIO AR88E. The laptop is made mainly for gaming, watching movies on and various other entertainment needs whilst not compromising the ability to do serious work on these as well. One thing that is compromised though is the portability, entertainment laptops are made to keep at home and not really to carry about with you all the time, so whilst the specification may look good, don?t expect one of these to be very portable. Its mainly black in colour however I like the design ho the screen top part comes over the bottom part of the laptop base slightly so that it gives a more cooler look to the laptop. The installed ram on this laptop is great, it has a massive 2gb which is the main reason this laptop runs so fast, also its intel core 2 duo T7700 which is one of the newest processors makes this laptop run so...

Sleek and Stylish Sony Vaio

Advantages: Great price for a Sony, Highly aesthetically pleasing
Disadvantages: Gets dirty extremely easily

...I have always wanted a Sony Vaio laptop; as far as I?m concerned, there is no laptop out there that comes anywhere close to being as aesthetically pleasing and stylish as the Vaio. In white, the Sony Vaio is by far the most attractive laptop on the market, and when I saw this moderately priced white Sony Vaio sitting there for the taking, I knew that it was something that I just had to own. Macbook?s are similarly styled, however I have always preferred the Windows operating system so for me, a Macbook was not a viable option. In the past, Sony have always priced themselves a bit out of the market by marking up their laptops at a higher cost than similar specification machines, however the VGN-N230 breaks with this tradition and has brought Sony well and truly into the budget laptop market which is great to see...

Sony VAIO

Advantages: LONG BATTERY LIFE AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.
Disadvantages: : NO GRAPHIC CARD.

...The Sony vaio is a device you can get for£ 500 or less. This is quite a notebook and it is very competence and efficient. It has a very stylish looks and has as very good graphics in terms of picture quality and brightness. I got mine some couple of months ago and I have not gotten any problems with it. The Sony product has 15.4 X -black LCD and that makes the picture a very sharp and bright one. It does all the function you might require a laptop to do. The Sony notebook has variety of features that makes it a fabulous functioning laptop and it is capable of running any software that is available. Its graphics card type is the one board graphic type. This is a machine that has an upgrade value because some people might be thinking that the price might reflect the product quality but that is not true. One thing that I like...

Another Sony marvel, this time with Blu-Ray built in!

Advantages: HUGE harddrive, lots of memory, stylish and fast. Easy to use and robust.
Disadvantages: Battery life could be better, and I'd have preferred it to be a little lighter.

...I seem to have developed a habit of reviewing laptops, so why break with tradition. Here we have the Sony Vaio VGN FW 41 - a mid to high-spec 16.4" screen laptop, designed with gamers, office workers, professionals and casual users all in mind. One of the first things I noticed with this laptop is how professional and stylish it looks, with its silver metal lining. It wouldn't look out of place in a teenagers bedroom or a top executive's office. That's one of the first key pro's about this laptop - it suits practically every kind of person. You wouldn't want to leave it on a train table or cair while nipping off to the loo. Then again, you wouldn't want to do that with any laptop ! The 16.4" screen is an unusual size, as they are usually either smaller at 15.4" or bigger at 17". The image is impressive, very much so...

Converted to Sony Vaio

Advantages: Battery life, build quality, feels like a desktop pc
Disadvantages: Price

...This is my first Sony laptop, I am a happy man... I've had a Dell, Toshiba and an HP laptop all in the past 4 years or so, each developed faults or just became to slow to run the most basic of task's. We all know Laptops can not compare to desktop equivalents with even the most primary of tasking, this new Sony offering breaks that rule. The thing that first drew to me to the laptop was not only the Sony Vaio brand but it was also the design, its sexy! - Brushed silver effect and very thin. It's light and the screen is stunning, yes the thing you stare at 98% of the time this is powered up, something that most laptop manufacturers seem to not acknowledge, it is in fact very clear and bright. The keyboard layout seems a little strange upon first viewing, especially if you are used to most other brands. It is this minor redesign...

Diamond review  Sony Vaio the way to go!

Advantages: Sharp screen image, high overall performance, great looks
Disadvantages: Continuous running of the fan

...and I strongly suggest that you try out any notebook before buying because I have tried some touch pads that are very sluggish. Often this can be rectified by changing the sensitivity in some menu somewhere hidden within the labyrinth that is Windows XP but sometimes the touch pads are just duff so make sure you try them out. The Sony Vaio GRT816S has no problems on this front either, initially the touch pad was a little slow but after tweaking the sensitivity option I found it to be perfectly responsive. This is of course all down to personal preference, I prefer my mouse pointer to move swiftly across the screen but others don?t. Most people will find that the initial settings will suit them just fine. Another thing that you may want to consider is buying a mouse, but again this is just my personal preference and depends upon how you...

SUPER SONIC SONY VAIO NR10 LAPTOP

Advantages: DVD R/W, HIGH QUALITY, BEAUTY, GREAT VALUE
Disadvantages: DOES NOT MAKE COFFEE

...with features at a great price. A lot of scratching on my head was done before I decided that the Sony Vaio NR10 was the one for me. It was quite a battle in the end between the Dell 1520 and the Sony NR10 Laptop as they both offered great value, but the Sony just had that extra bit of sparkle about it to make me part with my cash SONY VAIO NR10 First of all the Sony Vaio NR10 has a superb 15.4" 1280 x 800 high resolution screen that is truly stunning to both look at (very slick indeed) and use, then there's a massive 2GM of ram (memory) which is over twice that of my previous Laptop. The state of the art processor 'Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 / 1.46 GHz' is another very strong point as it now allows me to surf the internet extremely quickly, almost effortlessly and cuts out all the stress out of online activity. The DVD±RW (±R DL...

Diamond review  Sony Vaio... be like 007

Advantages: Light , small. good looking
Disadvantages: bit expensive but worth it

...and the opinions will be those of mine. (From the few times he's let me have a shot) and my dads. -The box- Included in the box is the laptop, a charger and instructions. They are all packaged up into a nice card board box that shows the Sony Viao logo and a picture of the laptop its self. The box is quite nice and also tell you some of the specifications of the laptop. -Instructions- The instruction manual is quite big and includes many languages. It tells you everything you need to know plus extra stuff on what to do if it doesn't work. It displays all the information in clear easy to understand language (not all the computer talk) and it even uses pictures and diagrams to display the points they are getting across. In the instructions there is a bit on getting started and the basics like charging your laptop all the way to the more complex...
