Great low-mid level laptop, for work, rest and play!
Advantages: Superfast, great design and nice-sized harddrive
Disadvantages: There are more advanced laptops out there. Price varies considerably.
...Here we have another great laptop by Sony and should that surprise anyone, considering that Sony are one of the most respected manufacturers of electronics in the world ?
The Sony Vaio VGN-NS30E/W is a low-mid level laptop designed to fit the needs of most business and leisure users. To better illustrate the features, the pros and the cons I've split the review into sections for you................
APPEARANCE
--------------------
This laptop is honestly gorgeous in its design. The white frame gives it a very crisp and clean look, much like an IPOD and makes you excited to see what it can do.
Upon opening the laptop, you're greeted with a stunning screen with X-Black technology. This means that the black backgrounds, vivid colours of media players and photos look very deep and rich. Games, movies and applications all look...

THANK YOU SONY!!
Advantages: ultra thin, light and very powerful.
Disadvantages: sony dont do disadvantages.
...Due to the fact that I run and build websites and the fact that I am somewhat addicted to the internet in general, I need to have a laptop that can do everything my desktop is capable of and as my desktop is a top of the range Sony only Sony could provide a laptop that could come close. Just over two months ago I went on the search for what I needed and after hunting through various websites, electrical stores and specialist computer shops I came up with the Sony VAIO FE41Z, an amazingly powerful machine which I have found so far to be almost as capable as my desktop and believe me it has been put through its paces.
As I also work from home mostly online, being stuck in my computer chair can get a bit tedious so it's nice now to be able to lounge about on the sofa taking care of my business. The type of work I do involves a lot...

Thank`s again Sony!
Advantages: Powerful, long battery life, lightweight, strong and looks stunning!!
Disadvantages: Absolutely none!
...When it comes to laptops there really is just no beating Sony, they just keep coming out with better and more powerful laptops on such a regular basis it's hard to keep up. One of their latest offerings the VAIO FZ21S - Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 GHz - 15.4" TFT really is something to behold. This laptop has the power and specifications to put some of the best desktops to shame, including X-black LCD technology reproducing amazing colour trueness. If money is no option then this is the laptop you simply must have.
As a website designer in my spare time and just generally a computer addict I put both my laptop and my desktop thoroughly through there paces and its very, very rare to find a laptop that will cope with everything I throw at it without jamming up or over heating but this little wonder breezes through it most admirably...

Sony Vaio FW21L - Movies and games everywhere
Advantages: Amazing processor and graphic card. 4GB RAM, Bluray optical drive
Disadvantages: $$$$
...Device Keyboard, touchpad
Battery Lithium Ion
Run Time (Up To) 3.2 hour(s)
Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Overview
With a simple yet stylish design, this Sony Vaio VGN-FW21L looks very similar to a Macbook. Even the keyboard design is the same. The power beneath, however, is much extraodinary than a normal Macbook.
Display
Equiped with a 16.4" screen, which has a high resolution of 1600x900 WXGA and a true 16:9 aspect ratio, is capable of producing impressively performance. This large screen is able to satisfy every single user, who is in the need of watching movies, playing games or view photos in high detail. The pictures produced are very vivid, sharp and realistic. There seem to be no colour in this world that cannot be produced on this screen. The X-black screen technology increases...

Sony vaio z1sp
Advantages: very light at 2.15kg
Disadvantages: none
...Although they both carry the Centrino badge, Sony?s latest VAIO couldn?t be more different from the Toshiba Portégé R100. While the latter dumps every scrap of ballast in its bid for ultra-light status, the Z1SP weighs in at a portly 2.15kg. This is far from useless bulk, though ? there?s more laptop here in whichever direction you look. The Z1SP boasts the faster 1.5GHz version of the Pentium M processor, it has twice as much memory and twice as much hard disk ? there?s just about twice as much of everything, in fact. Except battery life ? you get three times as much of that. Sony has opted to keep the size and spec at the top end of the VAIO range, but has used the Centrino architecture to ramp up the endurance to almost a whole business day. This is despite the 14.1-inch screen and internal DVD/CD-RW drive.

The Super Sony Vaio FS215Z
Advantages: Reliable, great functionality and an overall sexy looking laptop
Disadvantages: Battery life could always be improved
...I've been using my Vaio for over a year now and would never be without it as the functionality and reliability are excellent.
If you are looking for a multimedia laptop then this must surely be one to consider. With the laptop comes a docking station, external speakers and the much needed remote control!
Watching films on the 15.4" TFT active matrix screen gives you a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) allowing great viewing of those wide screen movies.
As a multimedia laptop it isn't going to be one of the thinnist but the dimensions of Width 36.4 cm, Depth 26.4 cm, Height 3.6 cm
and weighing just 2.9 kg made it a winner for me.
It comes with windows XP as standard but due to its Pentium intel 1.73 GHz processor this laptop is quick in operation.
The Laptop also comes with 2 hard drives as a standard. The first...

best in 14.1" series, sony CR
Advantages: good processing speed with graphics memory
Disadvantages: battery life
...Sony Vaio CR31Z/R
Sony has launched some luxurious notebooks since last couple of years, and the CR series from Sony became more popular in these days. Looks and feel are extremely good in this series. Sony has mainly targeted on solid looking notebooks with adequate features and latest technology also. In this series the new model Vaio CR31Z now in market with fully featured and configured.
***
Here is again my discussion points will be its good features with advantages and disadvantages also. First of all I always use to target my first discussion on processor of any notebook, because it is more important in all features at all. So here is also a good processor we can see in this model with Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 with 2.4 GHz of clock speed. Front size bus speed is about 800 MHz and L2 cache size is 3 MB, in my opinion this...

Top of the budget laptops - Sony NS-11Z
Advantages: Price, Build Quality, Specifications
Disadvantages: None as of yet!
...those we also have a couple more points worth mentioning. It has a DVD writeable drive, this means you can play back and burn DVD's and CD's. It has a built in wireless adaptor, meaning you can connect to your internet connection at home or at most places nowadays with the "wi fi" sign without the use of a cable (if you have a wireless router!)
One SD card/Memory stick duo slot for putting in your memory card from your camera or camcorder to view back on the laptop directly (saves messing about with the camera's USB cable!) - 4 USB connections for hooking up any device with a USB output such as microphones, headsets, hard drives, usb memory sticks etc - Finally it also has a built in 1.3MP webcam for chatting online!
Also upon opening the box I was greeted with some nice software only available with a Sony laptop, VAIO Music Box, VAIO Movie...

My Sony VAIO
Advantages: Quality Looking, Very Stylish, Great Speed!
Disadvantages: -
...Product: 15.4" screen Laptop
Make: Sony, VAIO
Features: XP, Service pack 2
Price: Varied
This Sony VAIO Laptop is stylish, powerful, fast active, and easy to use, this laptop is exactly like the one I own. Mine is Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with service packed 2, it has a 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) X-black LCD flat screen, and runs on 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (533 MHz). Even though, it's Windows XP, Its Vista capable as well; some of them I've seen are though. I can always rely on the Sony make; to me it has always been a top brand. I love the Intel Celeron M Processor 390; the processing speed is 1.70 GHz, which is the ideal speed for me. The hard disk drive is 80GB, which is quite suitable for the size. The Intel Graphics feature Media Accelerator 900 and comes with 128MB max, the graphics are outstandingly great, this is...

Another Sony Laptop
Advantages: All things are good
Disadvantages: Disk writer and battery
...Sony VAIO CR42Z/R
Analysis
I good peice of hardware bundled in this laptop. i used this and came to know the actual speed and comfort with which one can work on it. Sony started 14.1" display size which neither too small like 12" display nor too big like 15" display. 14.1" series and 13.1" series is an ideal for the frequent traveler. As this dose not burden your shoulder with its excessive weight. The processing speed is excellent when we see its peers. The look and feel of the piece is good enough to get attention of any passerby.
* The display is good as the high contrast and brightness make the feel of the display good.
* Memory capacity of this laptop is extremely great. with Hard disk space. Ram space and DVD R/w
*Memory card slots are placed excellently and support variety of card types. It also has sony...
