Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Mobile Phone
Review of Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman by
danmclovin
Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, nice features!
Disadvantages: Average camera, reported technical issues!
...the picture for printing purposes etc. It also has a very average video recording capability. The phone incorporates 3G and also HSDPA, which basically allows for faster internet access and makes the phone capable of high-speed downloading, ideal for music downloads. The 3G and HSDPA also allows the phone to have a video calling feature, not that this is something that I regularly use.
The W910i's strongest attribute lies with it's walkman, since the phone is designed as a walkman phone. And it doesn't disappoint. The audio quality of the Walkman 3.0 music player is nothing short of superb, with a fantastic bass frequency enhancement feature thanks to Sony Ericssons Megabass feature, the phone comes alive to the beat of music. The Walkman 3.0 music player is fully-featured, meaning you can create and manage playlists, shuffle, and has music...

Sony Walkman NW-A808
Review of Sony Walkman NW-A808 8 GB by
SeeEmilyPlay
Advantages: Control, battery life, big screen, sound quality, superior headphones
Disadvantages: A little light in terms of weight but the purchase of a skin eleviates this
...I recently spent 2 weeks working in London and commuting to my office using the tube. Everywhere I looked, people were listening to Ipods. It sort of reminds me of the mobile phone market where Nokia were/have been seen as market leaders and their phones as being "must haves" on people's lists, despite the emergence of other brands such as Sony and Samsung.
Up until recently I owned a 30 gig Ipod video. Don't get me wrong, it was ok in terms of sound quality. I thought the battery life (up to 14 hours) sucked and Itunes was the most user unfriendly software I've ever used.
So, one day, I read a magazine review of the NW A808, and I bought one. The first thing that strikes you is the size of the screen which is bigger than the Ipod Nano's. The other noticeable thing is its' weight, which sort of makes it feel "flimsy...

Walkman is best!!!
Review of Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman by
ILIKEMONEY
Advantages: A phone and MP3 player
Disadvantages: Bad battery life if using MP3 player
...-introduction-
I saved up for aegis to get this phone. It was over a year ago now and I can remember looking at the price of it and thinking " how will I afford that" but as you do I looked around and found it on ebay for £100 pounds cheaper, brand new and unopened! When I received it a few days later I couldn't wait to get home from school to rip open the parcel and see just what it was like and that is what I am going to describe to you. Exactly what it IS like. And to explain what all the fuss is about over Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.
-The Box-
This mobile box is unlike the others, as instead of the normal plain cardboard box this is a plastic slim box with an orange lid bearing the Walkman symbol. It measures just over 23-cm tall and13 cm wide. When you open the lid you must be careful as you slide the cardboard around...

Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman Phone - Black
Review of Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman by
es-vedra
Advantages: Battery, walkman, durability, features, large screen
Disadvantages: Thickness
...Since acquiring my first mobile phone many years ago, I have to say that by far this is my favourite. Sony Ericsson have yet again come up with a very stylish phone, packed full of features and extremely easy to use. Having used many makes of mobile phone in the past I have always stuck with Sony Ericsson in recent years and this phone has proved to me why. Its slide opening movement is smooth and yet will not come open easily when being taken from a pocket. After nearly 12 months of continuous use, the phone is still virtually scratch free and the battery is still holding a nearly new charge. It has been dropped a couple of times and suffered no ill effects, a pretty robust model in my opinion. One of the main attractions for most users of this phone will be the walkman mode. With a memory card slot to upgrade the storage space...

Sony's sexy sleek slider
Review of Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman by
Spiderkid
Advantages: Fantastic walkman, easy to use, great screen and plenty of features
Disadvantages: Awkward control pad, poor internal memory, not 'tiny'
...is distinct in the SE range as it is the companies first 'slider' phone, a fact which has generated much anticipation and trepidation in the SE fan base over the months leading up to it's launch.
First - a quick overview of the phones key features:
* 3G enabled (meaning you can make video calls as well as voice calls and enjoy faster internet surfing)
* Walkman version 2.0 - enhanced music player with TrackID music recognition software (will find a track on the internet after playing a few seconds from the radio or other source)
* 2MP camera - although no autofocus unlike it's predecessors the W800 and W810 and no xenon flash like the K800 Cybershot series.
* 2" clear screen - (262.144 colour TFT, 240x320 pixel if you're really interested)
* 16MB internal memory with Sony Duo Pro memory slot, complete with 1GB memory card...

The W810i Walkman Phone
Review of Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman by
gingelou
Advantages: Great phone, looks good, great features.
Disadvantages: n/a
...*** Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman Phone ***
After about a year of owning a Sony Ericsson K750i phone I decided it was time for a change and after an evening spent on the net looking up phones I finally decided on the Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman phone in White. My initial reasons being that it was Sony Ericsson and it was a walkman phone so I would be able to store more songs on and use the walkman at work instead of taking my mp3 player in. So I ordered my phone on O2 pay as you go for £149 out of the Littlewoods catalogue. Three long days later my new phone arrived.
After inserting the sim and battery I turned the phone on and it started up. The start up was and still is reasonably quick. Upon switching the phone on you are given the choice of Start Phone or Walkman Mode. Start phone mode enables you to use the phone normally...

Sony Ericsson W810i Phone/Walkman
Review of Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman by
renegade2005
Advantages: Good battery life, easy to use, hard to break!
Disadvantages: picture quality, sound quality.
...I recieved my Sony Ericsson w810i free on a 12 month contract to T-Mobile, who gave me the phone, 500 texts and 100 minutes for £23 a month.
Positives:
Despite its chunkiness and relative heaviness the phone is very resiliant, and has put up with bad weather and being dropped and stood on repeatedly with only a few marks to show for it.
It also is very simple to use, with everything accessed via a one click menu, the walkman function can be accessed with the push of an orange button and is simplistic enough for anyone to use.
When connected to the PC music video or picture files can be dragged and dropped onto and off the phone with ease, and there is a slot for a memory stick so it can hold as many songs as you'd like.
Battery life is in my experience up to a week on standby, and it very rarely cuts out on you when you...

Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman
Review of Sony Ericsson W850i Walkman by
fonzone
Advantages: Will handle anything you throw at it brilliantly
Disadvantages: Being picky, it doesn't disconnect a call when you slide the phone down!
...to your PC with ease. Memory is upgradable with Memory Stick Pro Duo's which are very affordable (and also work in your Sony Camera's and PSP) on the internet. You can also download themes from the internet for this phone (Lasyk Networks being one of the best) that include celeb pictures, football team themes etc.
just like any other 3G phone, this will handle video calling and works well in this area, with standard calls being clear while listening. The phone is surprisingly small considering what is crammed in and is brilliantly easy to navigate and use its functions. It\'s as easy as a Nokia to use and certainly beats Samsung, Motorola's to name 2 for general functionality. For the 'accident prone' among you, I can confirm that this phone is virtually indestructable following a few 'drops', sometimes from a decent height onto a hard...

An Excellent Walkman Phone!!!
Review of Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman by
DanniG123
Advantages: Has lots of features, has a good camera/video recorder, plays loud music,
Disadvantages: None at all!
...You can buy this phone for around £120 from the O2 phone shop (when I bought mine that was the cheapest shop) I have had the Sony Ericsson W810i phone for about 6 months now. I love all the features of the phone. It's a great phone because it's like a phone, mp3 player, digital camera and video recorder all-in-one!!! The Walkman (media player) is great as it plays the music really loud (although you obviously can change this with the volume button). If you like to play your music loud, then keep an eye out for my tip at the end of this review!! With this phone, you can connect to your computer via a USB cable. This means you can easily transfer music to and from your phone which is handy with this excellent Walkman phone!! Via the cable, you can also transfer photos and videos! In this review I’m going to tell you what comes...
