...This was my second iPod and I chose it for two main reasons. It was pink and it could play videos. It also had 8GB, enough for all my music, and was small enough to fit into my pocket on the plane journeys I take. ---Shape--- The shape of this is iPod is lovely a sleek and small square shape with a pink front and a silver back. It is thin and therefore easy to handle, though when I got it first I did think there was a possibility of it being snapped but I have now had it for a year and have not snapped it yet. The only problem with the silver back is the fact it gets easily scratched, mine is covered in scratches and most of the time I do have it in a case. Apple itouch 8GB

Advantages: Stylish, easy to use, large storage, good features, wi-fi
Disadvantages: Long to switch on/off, browser can be slow, may freeze at times

The itouch offers the users with an array of different features I never thought could be possible for a MP3/4 player. THE 8GB MUSIC PLAYER.

Advantages: LARGE MEMORY, SOUND OUTPUT AND LONG BATTERY LIFE.

8GB Ipod Touch

Advantages: Wii-fi support, touch screen display, ease of use
Disadvantages: quite pricey, output through headphones just, unless you by a docking station

...One things for sure Ipods are getting more popular by the day as more features and different designs are being introduced to these almost everyday necessities. I purchased the 8gb version 3 months or so back and ive been really please with it. It stands out from the rest as it has a large screen for viewing videos and photo's, but not only that it has the built in touch sensitive display which is very easy to use and im sure very popular. It has also introduced the new wii-fi so that you can connect to a wireless connection whether it be from the comfort of your home or in a coffee shop etc. when you go to i-tunes ur music and files can be transferred to your ipod within seconds though videos take a bit longer. All in all id say this product is worth investing in if you have a spare £180....

8gb iPod Nano

Advantages: Small and light, good sound and video quality.
Disadvantages: Quiet alarm and perhaps too thin

...This is the second iPod ive owned - I broke the last one, and it was my fault. So I've bought this newer version and I have to say it is brilliant. It is amazingly small and light for what it does - just 6.5mm thick, making it very easy to carry around without it becoming a nuisance. It also makes it easy to fit in your pocket without it looking ridiculous bulging out like the first mp3 players did. However, it is so thin there could possibly be a risk of it snapping easily if it was put under any kind of strain - if it got accidentally stood on or something. This hasnt happened to me, but it is something you have to be wary of. Aparently you can fit 2000 songs on an 8gb ipod, but I dont have this much on mine yet so I couldnt say. Ive got around 650 songs taking up about 2.5gb, so this figure should be about right. However, if...

...THE LAPTOP. It is around £20 to buy an adaptor to charge the device through the mains. Overall: I am really happy with my iPod and would recommmend it to anybody. The 8 GB is enough for around 1500 songs. The sound is good. One word of warning the headphones are fragiles. I have had two pairs as they ware our quickly. At £25 for a set it may be worth buying some aftermarket replacements if they do ware out....

...After a bike accident in which smashed my old ipod nano 1G and after 3 days in hospital without it to listen to i bought a IPOD NANO 3G Black 8GB, it i great the sound quality is good with new headphones however the ipod earphones are not great and it has a equalizer to match the sort of music you play, and the amount to choose from is huge, the screen is incredibley bright and clear and can be adjusted and when playing video the quality was way better than my digital TV. 8GB is plenty of room for movies and music as the videos are compressed for ipod compatibility. The itunes software does not allow you to do this however free programs are available that do. The ipod it very easy to use and some really cool games which make use of the good screen as well as other features like alarm clock, power off timer, contacts, notes, stopwatch...
