Sony Walkman 16 GB: Great media player, but not without faults...

Advantages: Large 16GB capacity, easy to use interface, easy to transfer music/pictures, superb sound quality.
Disadvantages: Incompatibility with many video formats and competitor mains/USB recharger adaptors

However, an important fact I feel you should be aware of is the Players' incompatibility with recharger mains/USB adaptors not specifically designed for the player by Sony. I tried using a cheap competitor adaptor which resulted in my computer failing to recognise the player once connected (meaning I couldn't transfer any more music) which meant I had to get a replacement (which was thankfully provided free of charge). "Summary" The Sony Walkman NWZ-A829 is an audio player with a great host of features, superb sound quality and an easy to use user interface. It does have a few negative aspects and is expensive. ...earpiece, and again i am impressed with the quality of the interface at all times. Doesnt seem to drop connection at all. The only real issue that i do have with this phone is the radio ! Why on earth make a music player that plays songs through the loudspeaker, yet you have to attach that horrid earpeice to use the radio !!!! I know i know the earpiece acts as an aerial too, but even so, i want a radio without the lead !!! That said it is a minor problem, with an otherwise exceptional phone !...

sony ericsson W995 Walkman top of the pops

Advantages: WiFi, navigation device, massive storage, top of the range camera at 8.1mp.
Disadvantages: small buttons, drifts in and out of internet and wap, slide up front so gets scratched easy

...I have had this Sony for about 4 weeks and I must say its an improvement on my last model (w850i) the WiFi option allow me to connect at home and watch BBC iplayer which is located as a fuction on the menu. You download from iplayer and store on the phons 8GB memeroy card which is very handy as it will save you money on any internet charges by your network provider. One slight downside is I find the buttons a bit small and do have trouble sending text messages, that aside the fictional side of the phone is good and an improvement on my previous model (w850i). The big features on this phone are the walkman and the 8.1 mega pixel camera. The camera wow!! Has great focus and superb quality but has not change any real features since my w850I. The walkman become a real replacement for any ipod as the 8GB card gives a huge amount of storage...

Multi-function Walkman kicks MP3 players Ass!

Advantages: Excellent MP3 and radio facility, expandable memory, games work well.
Disadvantages: Call quality a little quiet, no flash on camera.

You can expect this phone to completely replace your MP3 player as it has a memory card slot able to hold up to 4GB. Despite the phone coming with just 1GB I have still been able to store hundreds of songs with room for more. Tracks are easily arranged into play lists and artists using Sony?s inbuilt music library. This library can be completely customised and there is also an intriguing ?Track ID? feature were if you are listening to the phones FM Radio it can access the Internet and retrieve the track title, artist and album for you. Speaking of the FM radio, on the whole the quality s excellent. The in built speakers are clear and crisp for FM and MP3 alike...

Advantages: Camera/MP3 Player/Phone/Organiser - All in one!

...The new Sony Walkman w810i is a new model in the w800 range, and has numerous changes from its previous model - the w800i. The changes are clear in the design of the new phone, as well as functionality and the software driving the machine. To start with, the aesthetics have been greatly improved - in my opinion - as the black is sleek with the cool orange and silver buttons on either side makes it really eye-catching. A major change is the loss of the joy-stick feel with the navigation system, and instead created a D-pad which is pressable. Personally this is a great improvement, as they previous joy-stick nav was far too flimsy when trying to flip through photos/songs quickly. The phone, although has many improvements, has one down fall, which is that it does not have a camera-cover. This may seem like an improvement...

Advantages: good for music and entertainment in general. Pedometer feature and shake feature v good
Disadvantages: pricey and buttons can be annoying at first

...the buttons because they are a bit stiff at first. The little orange number buttons are also a bit weird when you first touch them but you get used to them aswell. Can be annoying for texting at first. The phone itself is really good being a walkman phone if you like your music. The music player is very good and has its own button to quickly access it. With that same button you can also press and hold it whilst on the music player and shake to shuffle and change your track. This may make you look a bit weird when your out and about but it is a very clever thing to have. Also if you like to listen to the radio and you hear a lot of songs but cant remember their names when you want to download them later on you can use a thing on it called 'track id' and it takes a sample of the song you are listening to and goes on the internet to match it...

...This is a very basic mp3 player it will do the job and the sound quality is good, to charge it up you need to plug it directly into the usb port of your computer and it does charge in about 20mins which will last for about 30 hours, It is very small which helps when in your pocket but because it is so small the screen is small and hard to read what songs are on there, it is very easy to use you just scroll through the songs or albums with one button and just stop when you get to the song you want, I think there is better out there with more functions for the same money it is basically just an mp3 player and could do with time/date settings or something like that...
