Sony Z1
Advantages: Light, durable, easy to use
Disadvantages: Expensive
...I first came across this dream piece of equipment whilst doing some filming for the BBC, similar to the Sony PD170 in terms of use its an absolute ideal piece of kit for anyone serious about film making.
Obviously for those of you wanting a camera for the family you would want to steer clear of an idustry standard piece of equipment ( a sony Handycam would be better for that).
The z1 ia all about customising, nearly everything can be changed maually, from white balance (how white the whites are) to the iris (how much light is let in). You can decides volumes of sound that you pick up and even change how fast or slow the zoom button works.
As with all cameras you cna have everything on automatic and the camera does a good job of getting everything done for you.
All of your settings can be saved onto the presets, meaing if you...

Sony WX1 ROCKS !!
Advantages: SIZE. LOW LIGHT ABILITIES. SWEEP PANORAMIC. Full Frame Burst Mode.
Disadvantages: NO MANUAL MODES. ZOOM Limit.
...Ok. Well I feel compelled to write this brief review as I have had the opportunity of having the WX1 for a few days now. So far REALLY IMPRESSED by this camera.
First. I was surprised. It?s small. Surprisingly Small That?s a plus as it allows for discretion when you don?t want to make it obvious that you have a camera with you. It?s mobile phone size . Actually lengh wise it's Slimmer even. Width is understandably thicker though.
The 24mm lens is really handy. The w300 had a 35mm wide end and this was annoying as it meant a lot ?stepping back? or ?clipping off? of scenes? Not so with the WX1. It?s 24mm ?G? lens is Wide and believe me you will appreciate it. Nice one Sony.
I love its low light capabilities!! And I will say that twice if I have to.!
It?s AWESOME. ISO 400, 800, 1600 are all good in Program and iAuto modes...

Sony vaio z1sp
Advantages: very light at 2.15kg
Disadvantages: none
...Although they both carry the Centrino badge, Sony?s latest VAIO couldn?t be more different from the Toshiba Portégé R100. While the latter dumps every scrap of ballast in its bid for ultra-light status, the Z1SP weighs in at a portly 2.15kg. This is far from useless bulk, though ? there?s more laptop here in whichever direction you look. The Z1SP boasts the faster 1.5GHz version of the Pentium M processor, it has twice as much memory and twice as much hard disk ? there?s just about twice as much of everything, in fact. Except battery life ? you get three times as much of that. Sony has opted to keep the size and spec at the top end of the VAIO range, but has used the Centrino architecture to ramp up the endurance to almost a whole business day. This is despite the 14.1-inch screen and internal DVD/CD-RW drive.

Class, class and class Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1
Advantages: Mostly, read the review
Disadvantages: Price and picture quality
...I always thought it?s always wise to review a product all the more for cameras like Sony Cybershot DSC HX1 to have enough feel of it. Since I am not pro photographer, it takes me time to get acquainted it and then learnig to use all its features. I believe being an armature it gives an advantage to review because their inclination to understand and experiment with its features in depth. So I know the advantages that I will enjoy as an amateur, the pros will be able to do even greater justice to it. Since it is difficult for me to own such expensive cameras, I prefer to all on my friends tell me about it and let use it for a while. As a reviewer I liked this stuff to write on because there are so many things positive about Sony CyberShot DSC-HX1"bridge" dSLR which are worth looking at. I strongly believe this camera provided a great...

Sony D-NE1
Advantages: Great quality all around.
Disadvantages: Poor software
...I bought one of these a long time ago, just before the iPod craze went off and to be honest for it's time it was fantastic.
Of course it is a little bulky taking CD's and all, but not too much so. It is barely bigger than a CD in fact and was ideal for my needs at school. I used to have the CD part in my bag, then the remote trailed out of the zip. The remote is the coolest feature of this product as it has a small screen on it so you can read your albums and songs.
The major problem with it was the software, when you were creating an ATRAC CD it just took forever, once it was made it was perfect however. After my 3rd Gen iPod broke, and my newer Sony HDD system is on the blink this little bad boy is still going strong! Pity they're being phased out :(
Because it takes ATRAC CD you can fit stacks on CD's onto one CD (the amount depends...

Sony at it's best
Advantages: great resolution and sound
Disadvantages: expensive but it woth it
...While visiting my friend's house last night, I can't help but to notice their new Sony LCD TV. I check the model and found out that it is a Sony KDL-52Z450052 inches. We already have a TV like this (see separate review) and its model was Bravia KDL-40Z450040 inches. I wonder what are the difference to its main features. I think its worth checking, so I borrowed its manual and compare it to ours. And here it goes.
1. Video : The video signal and display is much the same, both supports 1080/60p, 1080/60i, 1080/24p, 720/60p, 480/60p, 480/60i.
2. Measurements: Of course it differs on its weight and dimensions as I have a 40 inches and his LCD was a 52 inches. But both has an aspect ratio of 16:1.Mine has a Piano Black finish while his have a white finish. Not particularly impressed about it.
3. Audio Features : Audio features are also...

THANK YOU SONY!!
Advantages: ultra thin, light and very powerful.
Disadvantages: sony dont do disadvantages.
...Due to the fact that I run and build websites and the fact that I am somewhat addicted to the internet in general, I need to have a laptop that can do everything my desktop is capable of and as my desktop is a top of the range Sony only Sony could provide a laptop that could come close. Just over two months ago I went on the search for what I needed and after hunting through various websites, electrical stores and specialist computer shops I came up with the Sony VAIO FE41Z, an amazingly powerful machine which I have found so far to be almost as capable as my desktop and believe me it has been put through its paces.
As I also work from home mostly online, being stuck in my computer chair can get a bit tedious so it's nice now to be able to lounge about on the sofa taking care of my business. The type of work I do involves a lot...

I love my Z1!
Advantages: Very cute design, easy to use, great picture quality, fantastic value for money.
Disadvantages: Batteries don't last as long as they could, quite a big camera
...how much better the sound quality was. I thought that the Z2 picture quality was slightly better, but the Z1 had better sound. Of course, this could just be down to where the video was taken...
As I said earlier, the settings are really pretty easy to use - even for a total amateur! The menu is quite easy to navigate too. You get 3 sizes(640x40, 320x240 and 160x120) and 2 frame rates (30 or 15FPS) as well as audio (on/off), white balance and movie mode (STD. or night) for video.
For pictures there's different "drive mode"s (single pic, self timer, continuous etc.); 4 different image sizes (2048x1536 to 640x480); Fine, standard and economy quality settings and on/off digital zoom.
Battery-wise, it's not too bad. the flash can get annoyingly slow when the batteries are starting to get low, but with decent batteries (anything other...

Top of the budget laptops - Sony NS-11Z
Advantages: Price, Build Quality, Specifications
Disadvantages: None as of yet!
...those we also have a couple more points worth mentioning. It has a DVD writeable drive, this means you can play back and burn DVD's and CD's. It has a built in wireless adaptor, meaning you can connect to your internet connection at home or at most places nowadays with the "wi fi" sign without the use of a cable (if you have a wireless router!)
One SD card/Memory stick duo slot for putting in your memory card from your camera or camcorder to view back on the laptop directly (saves messing about with the camera's USB cable!) - 4 USB connections for hooking up any device with a USB output such as microphones, headsets, hard drives, usb memory sticks etc - Finally it also has a built in 1.3MP webcam for chatting online!
Also upon opening the box I was greeted with some nice software only available with a Sony laptop, VAIO Music Box, VAIO Movie...

Sony z610i
Advantages: It does everything the w800i and k750i do and looks great when you get a call or message
Disadvantages: It's bulky compared to similar phones and the external screen gets dirty easily
...Prior to owning this phone I had the Sony Ericsson W800i so I wanted a phone that did as much as that one and had confidence in the Sony Ericsson brand as I've owned a number of their mobiles.
The first thing that attracted me to the z610i was its stylish external display and when I looked into its functions it met my requirements.
The z610i is not a Walkman phone but has a music player which works in the same way as the W800i (with artists, tracks and playlists) but does not come with any earphones. So if you wanted them you need to buy some seperately and they would need to be Sony Erisccson branded as the only place to connect them is the socket used for charging and the data cable (the music player works without earphones).
The phone has upgradable memory and comes with a 64Mb Micro (M2) memory card (the W800i came with 512Mb...
