8mm Tapes are so last year!

The camera also comes with software which allows you to transfer you masterpiece onto you PC and edit as appropriate before you save to your DVD or CD, this also allows you to add music, titles etc and is easy to do this. The camera uses Digital 8 tapes which are approximately 90mins, and gives you great pictures and once you have transferred your work onto DVD or CD then you can reuse again, we tend to keep very special occasions on tape as a master copy for back up after all you wouldn't want to lose something like a christening or wedding etc. These vary in price the last we paid was around £15 for a pack of 3, if you keep reusing them this is probably enough. Advantages: high sound quality, diverse functions, record to tape mode, record from tape mode
Disadvantages: usless instruction manual, useless recording programme, not all cables supplied

...The sound quality is good, so is the recording quality. The look and design are brilliant and so is the durability! It's an extremly good cassette deck with a level meter indication feature as well as noise reduction and dubbing which are just the start! In my opinion however, this should just be sold as a normal tape deck as the only real feature that lets it down is the transfering "2PC" mode which is actually the main idea behind this deck! ...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out.
