Xbox 360 network Adapter

Advantages: Cute,Compact,Attachable
Disadvantages: Weak signal,Very expensive

...Microsoft and their proprietary products are poor performance,and too expensive.This adapter detects the same network my pc adapter detects but only 1 bar of signal.My pc adapter has 5 bars on the network.The xbox adapter must not have an omni antenna and the gain is probably 1dbi.I tried to opened this crap and put a higher gain antenna but the connector is a sub micro connector specially made for microsoft to screw us.I still could have rigged a better antenna,but i accidentally lost an ic chip trying to pry this thing apart,now there goes 70 bucks,never again. Fortunately i discovered linksys sells a universal game adapter (part number WGA54G),the adpater is also pc compatible,why isnt the xbox adapter pc compatible?Anyway,the linksys has an omni antenna and yes its removable to get a better omni.The signal is 5 to 15 times...

Xbox 360 network adapter, to buy or not?

...i bought this for £50 second hand, and i found it very easy to use and it connected to my modem in minutes, but i know not everyone connects it as easy as i did, infact i couldnt connect it to my old router when i first got an xbox 360, so then i went for the ethernet cable method which is ideal if the router is in the same room as the xbox 360 because its much cheaper, gauranteed to work and normally makes connection better, but in my case i had a 30m ethernet cable running down my stairs which is not ideal! therefore when i bought my xbox 360 back i wanted to get it sorted with the network adapter. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online
Disadvantages: Small Gamelist Thus Far and Some Games Suffer From Framerate and Graphical Pop-Up Issues

...of the greatest features i like is being able to access the regular internet. Sony just recently came out with Home, which is pretty much their family friendly version of the program Second Life. The only real problems i've experienced with this online is that it isn't as fast as Xbox Live and is also slow on downloads. The Playstation Network does suffer from a great deal of slowdown moments at times and you'll find that you're connection will jump up and down on some occasions but that's really about it. Downloading games or add-ons to your games is much slower then Xbox Live, which is a real pain when the files are extremely large. One of the biggest disadvantages that the PS3 has when compared to the 360 and Wii is the size of its game library. The PS3 thus far has the smallest gamelist out of all three systems but that isn't saying that the PS3...

...about this section is that it may be impressive now but soon it won't be as much, as computers are advancing rapidly now e.g. dual core, quad core games will be maybe 5 times better than the ps3 will be able to show. So if you are one of those people who wants to get the most they can from games then go with PC instead as it is easy to upgrade and games will continue to improve. The GPU was developed by NVIDIA and Sony, This graphics card is similar to NVIDIA 7800. This tells me that already the pc has a better graphics card than the PS3 as NVIDIA has released 8800 ULTRA and soon will be releasing 9 series. Just makes you wonder how long it will be before Sony decides to make you buy a PS4. My bet is within 3-4 years.
