LG VIEWTY

Advantages: touch screen, 5mp camera

...First of all I a saw the LG Viewty in my local orange shop 2day at 139.99 which i thought was an absolute still. I brought mine 2 months ago from Vodaphone for 200 pound which at the time I thought was good. To see my phone has lost 80 pound in value over 2 months was quite upsetting but technology loses value quickly these days. The 5 mp camera is a fantastic feature on this phone along with the stunning touch screen. The camera has a number of options to play around with and you can change the mega pixel to suit your style of picture. it also has a number of effects that a great fun too. The touch screen is also a cool feature and defiantly the main feature of this phone. LG Ku990 Viewty Review

...the menu is very clear and well labelled, making navigation a breeze, and everything easy to find. The camera is very easy to use, simply point and click, with many more advanced features for those who like to tweak their settings. So about that 5.0mp camera. I have mixed feelings about it. I've seen some very nice photos taken with the LG Ku990, I however myself, have never been able to take a decent photo without the flooding the scene with light first, even thought the camera boasts an ISO (How a camera's imagery sensitive sensor is measured) of 800. Most of the images come out dark with a lot of noise present. If your after a cell phone with a good camera, I'd recommend something else like a Sony Ericsson. The LG Viewty has the features we expect from a phone these days, with a few extras. It has the usual email, camera, web browser...

...I got this phone yesterday morning and I decided to wait a bit before writing a review. I've been attached to this phone for the past 36 hours and I've sussed most things out. I got this phone after reading reviews on here and other mobile sites. The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. ...I decided to treat myself to a brand new pay as you go mobile phone and I knew what I wanted and I knew that it was going to be on the orange network. The phone I am talking about is LG Viewty. The search began for the best possible price. I decided against getting the phone from Ebay as I wanted a brand new one which was boxed and never been open before. So why this model I chose this model purely because another family member has it and is always saying how good the phone is. LG Viewty - A good touch phone.

Advantages: Looks good, very good camera
Disadvantages: Texting can be tedious, very slow

...The LG Viewty, I thought it was a very good phone. It has it's downfalls but what phone doesn't! The more you use this phone you will find little things that niggle you. For example, I found it annoying when the phone would automatically lock after 10 seconds if you havent touched it in that time. You cannot change this in the settings. The CD that you get with the phone has very poor software, which makes it difficult to transfer music, pictures etc between PC and phone. The worse thing that i found with this phone is.....texting. You have to type very slowly. It takes a second or so for it to take in the letter that you last typed. So if you are a beginner at texting this phone will be excellent for you. The best things abou the LG Viewty - the camera. Not as many mega pixels as a Sony but still more than enough to get by...

...The LG Viewty - Looks like an iphone but think again! Unlike its prettier counterpart the Viewty is primarily a multi-functional phone with decent video/ camera and high speed internet (HSDPA) capabilities. One up for the underdog then. Having owned one for a while now here is an honest rundown - its not all good I'm afraid. The pro's: Desirable design - Well made, quality use of materials. Nice touch screen, the qwerty keyboard arrangement is great for texting. The camera is good (5mp) and the video has a slo-mo feature that is unique as far as I'm aware. You can also upload straight to You-tube although like many I suspect? never did! The Viewty comes with 2Gb with capacity for 4 max. Internet speed is great and surfing is made more enjoyable by the large screen display. The touch screen feels good providing a reassuring...
