Sony Ericsson C510 for Lou :)

Sony Ericsson C510 Cybershot: A good mid-range handset!

It has a fairly reasonable camera, the phone itself is quite easy to use and has a decent battery life. ...I have had a Sony Ericsson C903 for 5 days, it was an upgrade from 3. They were really pushing this phone when I contacted them about an upgrade, but to be honest, I am really disappointed with it.. The features look good on paper, 5 megapixel camera with flash, 2.4 inch screen, quite nice design, internet capable etc. There are however two problems that I have had with this phone. Firstly, the battery life is extremely poor, I have to charge it every day, I know sometimes new batteries can take a couple of charges to get to full capacity, but I don't use it that much for calls, do not have bluetooth turned on, do not surf the web for more that 5 minutes a day, etc, so after 5 days, I would expect the battery to last more than 24 hours on a charge. Secondly, when the slider is opened, it feels very loose, and rattles if touched. This...

...First impressions and exterior. In my opinion, the Sony Ericsson C902 is a very good phone which looks good and is very functional. My initial impression of the phone was that it was very similar in style to Sony Ericssons that I have owned previously, especially the K800i. This, in my view, is a very good thing as I have always like the accessable design whilst still keeping it simple and compact. One of my favourite features on the K800i is the analogue sick on the keypad, which is still present on the C902, but has been redesigned as a square. Each of the sides of the square will move in a different direction. One problem that I have found is that the silver coating on the side of phone chips and falls off relatively easily, leaving an ugly black scratch.
