...I owned this phone for just over a year I was on 02 network and I paid £139.99 for it. The mobile phone software is very good but the phone itself is very disappointing!!!!! First of all the Sony Ericsson W580i comes with a 512MB memory card and a 2.0 mega pixel camera. This obviously means that there is alot of space for pictures, music and video files. The picture quality is also brilliant too. The menu's are easily accessable and is practically the same as other Sony Ericsson mobile phones. On the Sony Ericsson W580i you can listen to the local radio station, Play the Games (My phone came with two games), TrackID (This you put your phone next to a speaker and the song is ID'd but comes with a price), Video Player. A "Video dj" Which allows you to add your videos together, PhotoDJ which allows you to edit...

My Sony Ericsson W580i

Advantages: Thin, Good Memory, Aesthetically pleasing, good value for money.
Disadvantages: Cover is worn quite easily, buttons crack quickly.

Advantages: 8.1 megapixel camera, 8GB memory space, nice keypad; buttons are easy to press
Disadvantages: takes a while to turn on, slide starts to feel slightly loose

For starters, I received my phone in the unique red colour, which is not only unique to other mobiles out there, but is a classy tone of red, and I don't perceive as tacky, like the convential bright pink phones designed to suit female tastes etc. Turning the phone on, everything was pretty much set up for the user. Sony Ericsson W580i in Pink!

Advantages: Nice little compact phone with plenty of features.
Disadvantages: Needed external memory stick in order to make full use of Walkman feature.

It cost me just £60 for the pink version as it was a customer return, not used but the seal on the box had been broken. Anyway back to the phone; was pleasantly surprised by how powerful the phone was considering how small and lightweight it was compared to my previous one, it weighs around 94grams. The menu function was clear and concise and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I found it quick and easy to enter additional contact infomation that wasn't stored on my Sim Card, and the whole phone was simple to navigate. ...Sony Ericsson W595. I upgraded to this phone in April and these are my thoughts on it. Firstly it looks great. I have it in black and its the best looking phone i have seen for a while. The quality of the pictures are excellent, its easy to make and transfer videos. The motion sensor also auto-rotates between portrait and landscape viewing of photos. There is no auto focus or flash which is ideally desirable. Texting is simple, any contacts you have sent a text to previously are automatically displayed when you press send to avoid you having to search through your contacts list. ...The Sony Ericsson w810i is a brilliant little phone! I got the satin black model on an upgrade of my existing contract with T-mobile a while ago now. Its the second sony ericsson that I've had as for years I always stuck with Nokia. The first Sony Ericsson I got was from the 'K' range that they do and it took a lot of getting used to after using Nokia for so long but after getting to grips with how the menus are layed out its really easy. CHOOSING THE PHONE & IN THE BOX The time came to buy a new phone and after deciding on going with a Vodafone contract, I needed a phone to go with it. After searching through loads of new models, I settled on the Sony Ericsson W910i in Havanna Gold. I chose the gold model because it's more unique - I do really like the other colours, but Havanna Gold has a nice sophisticated edge to it. I ordered the phone from Vodafone and it came the next day.
