...on the washing up too, the plastic jug needs to be simply rinsed and cleaned and its done. I do think it is worth noting that the jug cannot be immersed in water, or put in the dishwasher. During use the soup maker is generally pretty quiet, whilst the contents is cooking it can be heard ( and seen ) bubbling a little. It will pulse and blend at regular intervals though and this can be a little on the loud...
