Advantages: An important place in South African history
Disadvantages: Not a place that evokes happy memories

...Robben island Museum Robben Island which is just a short boat ride from the mainland in Cape Town is most famous for being the place where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held captive for many years during the Apartheid regime in South Africa. Today it is no longer a prison but has been turned into a museum and guided tours of can be taken of the island to view the various historical sites. The island is an official World Heritage site today. If you would like to take a trip or just want to read more about the place than I can tell you then the website is www.robben-island.org.za. We tried to book at the ticket office down at the V&A waterfront but their internet was down so we ended up booking online. The tickets were 200Rand per person ( about 11 Rand to the £1 when we were there) . We just printed them off...

Review of Robben Island (South Africa)

South Africa - A World of its own

Advantages: It is beautiful, lots of things to do and see, good tourist facilities for both families and travellers, this place is amazing all round!
Disadvantages: Some areas can be very dangerous - but then most countries do

...As the title suggests, South Africa is a place you probably never want to forget. In fact you won?t be able to forget it if you go there!!!! Review of General: South Africa

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

Advantages: Gameplay, graphics, depth, ranking system
Disadvantages: Smaller nations less detailed

...With every World Cup there is a World Cup game and South Africa is no different. There's usually not much difference from that year earlier FIFA instalment, but enough minor changes to encourage people to buy it - me being one of them, for just under £40. The start up of the game is typical of EA, very professional and stylish looking with well laid out menus and graphics. The actual game itself following this blueprint. The first noticeable difference when you kick-off for the first time is the improvement of the grass. Doesn't sound important, but I've always thought the grass in FIFA looks more like a big green carpet than perfectly manicured grass. It now looks a lot more like real grass with various marks spread all over it. Surrounding the grass are superbly detailed stadiums, included are all the World Cup venues...
