Harbouring a hotel........ Poole

Advantages: Excellent Views, Good value for money (when we stayed n e way)
Disadvantages: The heat, rooms very warm

...We recently stayed at the Thistle Hotel in Poole and have to say that of the many hotels we have stayed this must rank amongst the top 5. Based right on the harbour, and I mean right on it, about 20 feet, the view of the boats coming / going, the yachts and the general ambience of the place was excellent. Our room on the second floor was spacious with a separate seating area and very clean...

Fun At The South..

Advantages: something for all the family, location, clean and well maintained, lots to do
Disadvantages: can become expensive, not everything is always open, moody workers

...We stayed in a hotel up the South Shore during our holiday in Blackpool so were very close to the South Pier. During our stay, we visited the pier on a few occasions and at different times. This discusses our experience as a family. Blackpool South Pier South Pier is next to the Sandcastle and a short walk from the Pleasure Beach. Trams and buses stop outside and it is very easy to find...

WEEKEND AWAY - IN THE STYLE OF A MILLIONAIRE

Advantages: GORGEOUS SETTING, EXCELLENT QUALITY OF SERVICE AND FACILITIES
Disadvantages: POSSIBLY A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WHAT I AM USED TO

...mansions, The Haven?s appeal did not feel as stunning. The hotel is on the seaward side of the peninsula, taking in views across the English Channel and the Swanage headland. Poole Harbour is the other side, so to enjoy the views you would need to get out on foot. The hotel itself gave a stately feeling, with a touch of the 1930?s Art Deco period, and with it being located on the edge of the waves...
