...There was a time when Simon Pegg wasn't appearing in bad Star Trek films and starring in exceptional sitcoms which he had a big hand in writing - this is Spaced. Now starting to edge over the ten years old mark, Spaced was a sitcom regarding two strangers (played by Pegg and Jessica Stevenson) who meet in a greasy spoon café, and figure out they both need somewhere to live, despite barely knowing each other. They move into a two bedroom flat owned by the creepy landlady Marsha and then the tales begin. Advantages: Fun Sci-Fi
Disadvantages: Quite dated

...SPACE 1999 = Here we are again with another memorable sci-fi series from Gerry and Sylvia Anderson whose other 'Hits' included Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds and UFO. Space 1999 was set on the Moon where a Moon base has been built and nuclear waste from the Earth was stored, but things are not well and soon the nuclear waste explodes blowing the moon out of earths orbit and sets it on a course out of the solar system. Spaced out comedy

Advantages: Superb sitcom and brilliantly written
Disadvantages: Some of the comedy a bit too 'out there'

...UK sitcom Spaced was originally aired on Channel 4 back in 1999 but has recently made a return 10 years later on Dave which has prompted me to review the dvd i bought a few years back but just had to watch again recently. Give me some Space!

Advantages: Good customer service
Disadvantages: Haggling over the price

...with not even a brochure. Their loss, of course! Introduction to company Enter Space Kitchens. I think I was probably set up by someone to receive a call (through a bonus scheme that they run) and so a call duly came. An appointment was made which took them by surprise, and the ?designer? came along last August. The idea was that the quote would be good for a year, and if I appeared in Feature Homes magazine, I could have an instant reduction and also benefit from anyone booking a new kitchen on the back of seeing mine in the mag. With me still?? The catalogue which the designer brought along, shows a whole range of kitchens from very modern to classic designs. There are also gadgets like a special shelving system which makes the best use of those corners of cupboards which never see the light of day and harbour goodness knows...

Scouse Spiders from Space

Advantages: Some classic tracks, funny at times, definitely a cult favourite
Disadvantages: A couple of weaker tracks but not many

...Space are, or should I say, were an indie band from Liverpool who rose to the public's attention during the downturn of the Britrock movement in the mid 1990s and released two albums. This one, 'Spiders' being their debut. The band achieved notoriety due to their quirky lyrics and gritty song topics although their success was somewhat short-lived due to issues within the group and financial trouble. Spiders was a well-recieved album with 4 UK Top 20 hits and the album itself peaked at number 5 in the album charts and eventually went Platinum. Dead Space, coffin not included.

Advantages: Making corpses burst apart in Zero-Gee!
Disadvantages: Horror and enemies get rather repetitive.

I know it's difficult, but try and cast your mind back to when you could only reach the top shelf in the kitchen with the aid of a chair and the thing foremost in your mind was whether your parents would let you keep the dog you found with no teeth. There were a lot of things back then which I felt were unfair, but the biggest were the chores. 'Wash the dishes!' 'Mow the lawn!' 'Clean the toilet!' ... The rather long-winded point I'm making is that Dead Space manages to take me back to those years. The story: You are an engineer by the name of Isaac Clarke who is sent to investigate what has happened to a mining ship called the Ishimura. ...Space Kitchens - Glasgow Where to start with this shamble of a company? I have been working with the company for nearly 6 months now. I applied for the job as it stated "Driver" on the jobcentreplus form, only to be told after the interview, you are actually going to be a salesman, guised as a "designer". What a joke!!!! The usual starts, they offer you the world, you can make £1000 a day from the commission you earn, joke!!!! Likeliness is, you will make the £50 pitch fee only. They are all friendly for the first few weeks also until they turn on you. Your training consists of sitting in a room with a fat mancunian while he talks about how he makes £100k a year, please? The "lead" comes from the fat skanks sat in the call centre who basically hound the customer into saying YES to a "Free Plan & Design" which afterwards, a price...
