Best Travel System but for how long?

Advantages: all in one solution
Disadvantages: Heavy and large when folded

...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc. This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention! We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol). The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...

  A taste of Spain

Advantages: Nice weather, pretty cheap
Disadvantages: Almost like being home because of a large Norwegian community

...A short summary My wife Nikki and I went on a trip to Albir right north of Benidorm in Spain in the period August 27th to September 5th 2004. We went together with our friends Olav and Allis and their two kids. During our stay we got a chance to drive around a little bit, visit the theme park Terra Mittica, the water park Aqualandia, drink some good Spanish red wine etc. I hope that this short trip report can be of some use to others that are going to the same destination. A beautifull walk near San Jose Spain

...A pretty cove and a beautiful walk near San José Spain We went on holiday to San José in Almeria Spain this Easter hols. This is a description of one of the best bays/beaches we found and a good coastal walk. We used the tourist hiking map Capo de Gata-Nijar (1:50.000 same scale as an standard OS map here) which we bought from the tourist information in San José, it comes with an accompanying book about the routes marked on the map. It also contained information about camping, apartments and other local information in Spanish. Dearly beloved can read some Spanish and I found I could follow a lot of the instructions fairly simply, you may be able to get an English copy. A bulky travel system

Advantages: Big Shopping basket, Suitable until baby wants to walk, Great for Ramming people out of the way (joke)
Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Bulky and Hard to find somewhere to put the pushchair when not using it.

...I bought this travel system because i thought it looked good, boy was i wrong. Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. The only good thing about the car seat was that it was easy to fit into a car and onto the pushcchair to make it a travel system. -Pushchair- As i said above my son didnt like it in the carseat so i had to put him in the pushchair from about 2weeks old, this pushchair is ment to be suitable from birth. Barcelona Spain Catalonia

Advantages: Lot to do and see, coastline of beaches, and lots of good shops to the expensive to the cheap.
Disadvantages: metro underground gets busy in the paek seasons, but all places have easy access and are walkable

WHAT A VENTURA IN SPAIN !! (Hopefully in the right place now!!)

LOST IN SPAIN...

Advantages: BEAUTIFUL PLACE - UNSPOILED - TRANQUIL - CLIMATE

...Well, I’m writing this on New Years Eve, in the office, but totally bored as none of my customers are in their offices so I can’t phone them to chase them for their missing adverts…*sigh* Anyway, my thoughts turned to holidays, like they do at times like this!! In 2002 I went to Seville, Spain. I have traveled quite a bit but not really in Europe much so I didn’t know what to expect. Seville is a beautiful town – very unspoiled. If you’re looking for the ‘real Spain’ I suggest Seville and we went at an excellent time weatherwise – not too hot or cold. We spent 5 days there in May 2002, at the Hotel San Gil – this is a 4 star hotel, where most of the rooms are suites, sadly we had one of the very few double rooms there. A trip ruined by the Waltons

Advantages: Great value for money, a full days entertainment, ideal for families
Disadvantages: Not deep sea, emphasis on crabbing rather than fishing, too "touristy", not for serious anglers

...Whilst looking at all the different tours advertised along the riverside of Dalyan I noticed there was a distinct lack of fishing trips, and of the few that were available all of them included hand-lining and crab fishing, both of which didn?t really appeal to me. Where are all of the deep sea fishing trips or big game fishing excursions that used rods, reels and line? Straying off the river and heading in to town I came across Kaunos Tours, and outside their HQ was a board advertising ?deep sea fishing trip?. This seemed to be just what I was looking for and the price of 35YTL (approx £15) for a full days fishing, with lunch, was very attractive and seemed a bit too good to be true so I went in and booked up.
