Advantages: Mix of experience and flair. Strong recent form.
Disadvantages: Key striker Torres struggling at club level.

..., though they are likely to face either Holland or Germany in the Semi-finals. Spain are clearly the form side, though anything is possible in a knockout competition. I back Vicente del Bosque's men to do the job, and it would be unwise to rule them out.
