Rodney has had enough and buys a one way ticket to Robot City, to find a job to help his dad pay back Mr Gunk for the damage done to his restaurant, and to achieve his dream of meeting Bigweld. Upon arrival in Robot City he asks many people for directions to Bigweld Industries, including a robot obsessed with taking his picture and a break dancing robot. He eventually manages to find out where it is and the journey from the train station to Bigweld Industries is in short brilliant and very imaginative. Trying to get into Bigweld Industries proves difficult as Bigweld is no longer in charge, so new inventors are no longer allowed in. ...These new Walkers Great British Takeaways crsisp are everywhere at the moment aren’t they? This is clearly the latest thing from Walkers to make us all buy more crisps and obviously no new product from Walkers would quite seem right without a truly cheesy advert involving Gary Lineker and these are no exception! I like crisps a lot (as anyone who has read a few of my ops will know!) but I have to confess that I find normal Walkers crisps a little on the greasy side and I find their fat and calorie content scarily off putting. ...I read this book without any preconceptions, apart from one vague description as 'good, read it' from my father. This was the perfect way to start, as my expectations were relatively low, and was immediately drawn into the story. The story opens with our main character, Jack Randall, making his way with a group of frightened Spares in tow. We are not yet aware of why they are there, nor who he is, though we assume the spares are clones because of the blurb on the back. Very gradually, at times painfully gradually, the story reveals how he has reached this point. The story flashes back to times before, the two periods of time running as seperate sequences, parallel throughout the book. The effect is that as we read about Randall attempting to keep the spares safe in the present, at the same time we have the story of his life told... Read review

...have the keys to the shop that holds his prize of Walkers Great British Takeaways Crisps, there is a lot of dancing and happiness until Gary opens the door to the shop, locks it behind him and shrugs at his new wife whilst devouring a pack of the said crisps. Just when you thought that Gary could not go any lower. APPEARANCE They come in the all too familiar Walkers foil wrapped for freshness crisp bag the only difference is that the bag is brown and the flavour of the crisps has been cleverly written on a takeaway bag. SMELL On opening the bag there is a definate whiff of chinese spare ribs that just makes my mouth water. It does not smell at all artificial but in fact as if you had just cooked spare ribs yourself. THE TASTE These crisps are amazing. They are very crunchy and have a lovely strong (not overpowering) taste... Read review

...If it's Volkswagon it's got to be cheaper at German & Swedish. First tried them a couple of years ago and haven't been anywhere else since. G&S specialise in parts for Audi,BMW,VW,Volvo and Porsche. They advertise in the Exchange and Mart and do mail order as well as having 6 branches. The staff really know their stuff about the parts they sell, they offer knowledgable advice if needed. Parts not in stock can be brought in the next day. Many of the parts sold are as originally specified by the manufacturer, they also usually offer a cheaper alternative if you're on a tighter budget I've found them to be at least half the VW garage price and often much much cheaper. Quoted £35 for a Golf expansion tank they did a replacement one for £8 !, it's been on there 2 years with no problems. The selection and low price make them... Read review

Gone are the days of grubby little bomb sites / scrap yards with some dodgy looking geezer using an old caravan as an office with a hungry Rottweiler chained to the front door. This is the 21st century & many dismantlers' yards are large warehouses with shelves stocked with fully working spare parts. Their inventories are computerised & the staff know their stuff, if you can't pick up a component, most will deliver locally or organise postal delivery. Why would you want used parts in the first place & are there risks? To answer that properly you need to know a little about how new & used parts are sold in the market place. If you want to save money running your car this is where you will save the largest amount. Look at the spare parts business in three sections, the new fast moving parts, new captive... Read review

...on the 'Great British Tastes' range I mentioned earlier. Only this is 'Great British Takeaways.' Basically Walkers have taken the flavours of Chinese and Indian restaurants and put them in crisp form. This particular bag is Chinese Spare Rib flavour. Now I love, worship and adore Chinese spare ribs so these have got a lot to live up to. So lets see... oOoOo THE BAG oOoOo As I said earlier, I thought they were BBQ crisps because the edges of the bag are the exact same brown colour. The middle of the bag is a pattern like the horrible flowery wallpaper you get in some dirt cheap Chinese restaurants! lol So Walkers are trying ethnic - or stereotypical ethnic anyway!
