One thing I don't really like about the design is the white cord, which always reminds me of ipod headphones, but well, it's just a colour really. Now, on to the sound. As said before, these headphones are renowned for their bass response, and in reality the sound they produce really is quite amazing. When I first plugged them into my mp3 player, the music was so bassy that it almost sounded distorted. However, with a quick flick to the equaliser, lowering the bass and upping the treble, everything was dandy and the sound is great! But, this does mean that if you have a CD player or mp3 player with no equaliser, I wouldn't recommend these headphones unless you like really bassy music (like hip-hop fans... you sick puppies!). The Plug, Sheffield

Advantages: Good venue, excellent location
Disadvantages: Long queues, varied nights so each night won't appeal to everyone

...The Plug is located above a block of offices right in the heart of the city centre and since opening its doors a few years ago it has established itself as one of the most popular venues in the city. It is a large club split into three different rooms; cleverly called Live, Earth and Neutral. Live is the room where most of the live bands play and there is a stage and a room large enough to accommodate around 500 people standing. The other two rooms are usually used to play different styles of music but the design of the place means that it is possible to remove the false walls and create one large room with a capacity of around 1200. I seen a few live acts here including Jarvis Cocker and Glasvegas and on both of these occasions it was just one large room rather than the three smaller ones. Music with a Spark

Advantages: Great songs, a great voice, nice range of songs

...I don't really follow American Idol at all as I think we have enough reality shows of our own to keep up with in Britain, but somehow this young singer has caught my eye. I first saw her debut video on a music channel late one evening and the catchy melody and lovely voice made me look on the internet to find out more about her. After hearing that song a few more times, I decided I wanted to try her album so I got the mp3 version for Amazon and sat down to have a listen and I hoped it would be good. Luckily for me it was. Jordin Sparks was only 16 when she entered American Idol, and won the sixth series of the show. Her bdeut single went to number one in America, and since then her popularity has rocketed, releasing a massive hit with R'n'B singer Chris Brown and also cracking the UK market. Small design, giant power

Advantages: Really deep bass, full rich amazing sound for earbuds
Disadvantages: Hard to put in, especially when in a rush

.... You've got to be careful around traffic. You can hear instruments you never even thought existed in tracks before with these phones but this up front sound detail backfires in a way (although it's not a major flaw) as you can now hear different conversion rates of WMA files (like a record crackling) and a slight static hiss in between tracks. I've yet to see how long these last for but Koss says they should last a life time (as if). However, if they don't, I won't be going back to conventional phones again as they only cost £5 and are impressive in my book. These have slightly better foam seals than the 'Plug' version of these phones, as it expands to fit the shape of your ear canal. I definately recommend to everyone who wants their music to be heard in detail, who needs more bass, who wants to enjoy their music in peace and who...

...Now I don't know if I'm the right person to be reviewing this CD as it's not my type of music, but I borrowed this CD from a friend as I enjoyed her music on American Idol but I dind't know if she would be as good. Who is Jordin Sparks? Jordin Sparks is a 18 year old American pop/RnB singer from America, the sixth season of American Idol was what she found fame in, when she found herself being the youngest ever winner of the show at just 17 years old. ...I must be the only one who loves these,they are cheap and sound great 1) THE SPARK PLUG That is exactly what it looks like,has a white base,silver middle with Koss logo on it,(subtle adverising eh?)with soft ear cushions,shaped like a cone, which are supposed to adapt to your ear size,when fitted properly,,sound is then supposed to be crystal clear and any outside noise should not be heard.they come with 2 spare cushions just in case you loose them 2)What you do with them is roll the soft ear cushion--like you would a earplug--------,put in your ear, they should then adapt to your individual ear shape and size.they are a wee bit uncomfortable at first,this did not last long 3) So I did all that and hey presto it works beautifully for Me anyway,its probably cos I have worn earplugs for years so am quiet good at it who knows...

Ear Candy

Disadvantages: Ear pads wear away after a few months, are easily lost and too expensive to replace

...Personal stereos are quite often far from personal. If you spent an hour on the train next to the guy with techno music thumping out of his earphones, you'll know what I mean. I have discovered The Plug and hope all my fellow travellers will do the same soon ! Unlike some personal stereo earphones, The Plug doesn't leak sound and annoy anyone else. However, it works both ways. These earphones will block out even the loudest background noise, leaving you to enjoy your music without being disturbed by the man on the next seat with the chesty cough, or worse still - the guy with the techno music blaring on his personal stereo ! Gives your holes a damn good plugging.

Advantages: Eliminate most noise, comfortable.
Disadvantages: Do not eliminate Irish mothers.
