One thing I don't really like about the design is the white cord, which always reminds me of ipod headphones, but well, it's just a colour really. Now, on to the sound. As said before, these headphones are renowned for their bass response, and in reality the sound they produce really is quite amazing. When I first plugged them into my mp3 player, the music was so bassy that it almost sounded distorted. However, with a quick flick to the equaliser, lowering the bass and upping the treble, everything was dandy and the sound is great! But, this does mean that if you have a CD player or mp3 player with no equaliser, I wouldn't recommend these headphones unless you like really bassy music (like hip-hop fans... you sick puppies!). ...I must be the only one who loves these,they are cheap and sound great 1) THE SPARK PLUG That is exactly what it looks like,has a white base,silver middle with Koss logo on it,(subtle adverising eh?)with soft ear cushions,shaped like a cone, which are supposed to adapt to your ear size,when fitted properly,,sound is then supposed to be crystal clear and any outside noise should not be heard.they come with 2 spare cushions just in case you loose them 2)What you do with them is roll the soft ear cushion--like you would a earplug--------,put in your ear, they should then adapt to your individual ear shape and size.they are a wee bit uncomfortable at first,this did not last long 3) So I did all that and hey presto it works beautifully for Me anyway,its probably cos I have worn earplugs for years so am quiet good at it who knows... ...Personal stereos are quite often far from personal. If you spent an hour on the train next to the guy with techno music thumping out of his earphones, you'll know what I mean. I have discovered The Plug and hope all my fellow travellers will do the same soon ! Unlike some personal stereo earphones, The Plug doesn't leak sound and annoy anyone else. However, it works both ways. These earphones will block out even the loudest background noise, leaving you to enjoy your music without being disturbed by the man on the next seat with the chesty cough, or worse still - the guy with the techno music blaring on his personal stereo ! ...What do I want to go with my MP3 player so that I can enjoy my music - I know some earphones, I think I'll treat myself, spend a bit of money, so what am I looking for. I want them to be small and not very visible - let me browse - what's this 'The Plug' - let me have a look. I guess 'Koss' are good make, they sound familiar, but I'm not too sure where I've heard of them before. These earphones have a good earbud design, which fits directly into the ear canal, which means they're very small and not so obviously visible or bulky. They come with a lifetime warranty, and also 4 different sized 'ear sponges', which fits onto the main 'bud' the actual workings of the earphones. I've had them a few weeks, and they are very good. The only obvious problems is the difficulty in actually getting them into the ear - you have to squeeze... Read review

Advantages: Really deep bass, full rich amazing sound for earbuds
Disadvantages: Hard to put in, especially when in a rush

.... You've got to be careful around traffic. You can hear instruments you never even thought existed in tracks before with these phones but this up front sound detail backfires in a way (although it's not a major flaw) as you can now hear different conversion rates of WMA files (like a record crackling) and a slight static hiss in between tracks. I've yet to see how long these last for but Koss says they should last a life time (as if). However, if they don't, I won't be going back to conventional phones again as they only cost £5 and are impressive in my book. These have slightly better foam seals than the 'Plug' version of these phones, as it expands to fit the shape of your ear canal. I definately recommend to everyone who wants their music to be heard in detail, who needs more bass, who wants to enjoy their music in peace and who... Read review

Now, I don't begrudge anyone a party but when the housing estate that backs onto my street have a massive bonfire, hire the kind of sound system that puts Glastonbury to shame and put out a call to arms for the most spectacularly stupid and uninspired DJ ever to lay his hand on the decks ('Alright lads! This is DJ Loyalist Larry from the Orange massive! Mark? Your Ma says you're to have your tea before you go to the bonfire. Right folks, let's burn the pope to the sounds of, erm, Amy Winehouse. Yeah!') and they're still going strong at 3 in the morning, ear plugs are called for. Aside, though, from the obvious 'helping you to get to sleep' benefits of ear plugs, they do have another, rather vital, use: without ear plugs it's likely that my mother and I would have come to blows long ago. ...Sparks were(and still are ) experts at combining the perverse and downright odd with precise entertainment ,they had used these elements before but in this instance they travelled several light years in to the future ,so far in fact that this album is still contemporary ,its influence on modern dance has few rivals and its producer Giorgio Moroder can not take all the credit has he had done on those great Donna Summer and Japan records ,the sibling harmony of brothers Ron and Russell Mael would not alow that . Consisting of only six well chosen tracks, the album unveils itself with a song from the narrative perspective of poised sperm or "Tryouts For The Human Race",the racing ,pulsing backbeat emulating the urgency of climax as they chant "tryouts for the human race we just wanna be someone ",remarkably this went top 40 in 1979... ...Jordin Sparks is an 18 yrs American Pop/R&B singer. She won the 6th series of American Idol in 2007. Her debut self titled album ranges from ballads like her first single 'This is my Now' to her second US single Tatoo (very poppy) and a duet with Chris Brown titled 'No Air (R&B). Album: 1) Tatoo - This charted at number 8 on the billboard hot 100. It's a cute pop song about her love for a boy that she holds close to her heart. 2) One step at a time - Due to be her next single in the US. It's sound is like an early Christina Aguilera come Britney Spears. Easy to listen to and quite catchy 3) No Air- Duet with Chris Brown...Absolutely love this single. ..."Indiscreet" - Sparks I absolutely love this record. In fact, I own three copies!! This is not a usual level of obsession for me. Basically, I ordered a copy on CD which took ages to arrive, phoned up the company, who said they'd send another one, and ended up with two CDs... I only paid for one and somehow or other I ended up keeping both! I used also to collect vinyl LPs and have an LP copy of this album too. It's a really entertaining record full of inventive songs with witty lyrics... but what else could you expect from Sparks?
